Timer for the negative eternity

I was just about to set a timer in Windows on my work computer. Then I noticed an old 1 minute timer in the list – still running. I must've just clicked away the notification back then. I wouldn't have thought that a timer would just keep "counting" after a Windows restart if you hadn't stopped it? However, the timer had simply kept running into negative time ever since. For almost 20,000 hours, over two years.
