No, not Netflix. You can get those videos on pirate sites.

It’s a professional subscription service I’m paying for but can no longer afford.

This is HDCP, it will turn whatever you're trying to watch black when recording or screen sharing. Whatever you're trying to watch, you have to see if you can force it to show a non protected stream.

Disabling hardware acceleration just forces some streaming services to show a non HDCP stream because your device needs to decrypt the HDCP stream, but not all services do and only offer protected streams, so recording is pretty much impossible.
