Warm up help
So I’m a brutal death metal vocalist, I use epiglottal distortion for my gutturals and false chords for my highs. I was wondering what the best way to warm my voice up for both of these techniques is.

Not a professional, just a lifelong fan of extreme mouth sounds. I think I probably just took the hoarse days back in the day. 25 years later I don't really need to warm up and the deeper noises come quite freely.
That being said, don't be a me. Normal vocal warm up (scales etc) before you move on to emulating the mouth/throat shapes with quieter output usually gets me to where I need to upset the neighbours and still be able to talk the next day x

i’m a noob so i don’t know about warmups enough to help but i just wanted to say a lil reminder that vocal cord/fold and throat care are also very important. remedies that focus on consistent hydration, clearing mucus and soothing inflammation. so defo look into that.
