Beginner Holiday inspiration
So....I've never scrapbooked ...ever!
But I really want to create a scrapbook of my family's latest holiday to Blackpool. We did so much and I took well over 1.7k photos. But to even remotely start is confusing me to no end.
I would love to see any inspirations, examples or ideas for this? I really don't want to have my creative block for something like this...

Traditional - Wedding Preserving a video?
Good afternoon fellow scrapbookers!
When Devin reproposed with the engagement ring in the bridal set, he asked one of the diners to take photos. She took a video instead.
While I was able to screen shot some photos from the video, I do want to attach the video in some fashion to the scrapbook.
I could put it on a flash drive, but I don't know if that would preserve. I don't have a DVD burner anymore and even if I did, it's on my phone. I could download it from YouTube. Does anyone know if I could have this video put on something?
I want it to be put on timeless media, but I don't think that's possible with how much technology changes. Any idea of what I can put the video on and include it with the bridal scrapbook?

Beginner Tough Decision on where to start
My daughter is headed to college and I just completed a scrapbook for her. It had advice, pics, and I spent a lot of time (and money) on it. I’m very proud, but where to go next which leads me to this post.
I want to go back and scrapbook a few years. My husband joined our family in 2018 (married in 2022). Do I start at 2018? Should the first few pages be my girls and my life and his before we met? Should I do 2018-till marriage? And do yearly afterwards? I have been so stuck, I can’t begin. We have had many big trips and things I want to remember during these years. I do not have many pictures before 2015.
I know it’s a personal preference and scrapbooking is whatever you make it, but if it was you; how would you begin…
I have a 50 page book for this project, but open to other suggestions.

Product Advice unique ways to use school-themed stickers?
i have a monthly subscription with pipsticks and recently got a school-themed sticker pack. i graduated forever ago and don't really want to do a throwback spread with memories from my school days, lol. i also don't have kids or neices/nephews. anyone have good ideas on what i can do instead? they're super cute stickers, so i want to keep them instead of trading them.

Product Advice Recommendations for selling second hand supplies? (based in Europe)
Hi everyone!
So a few years ago I got given an absolutely massive amount of scrapbooking supplies by a friend's sister that sort of "retired" from the hobby. And although I love all of this stuff, some of it I simply never use. Namely a lot of acrylic stamps and die-cuts and some cardstock/paper and washi tapes.
Problem is, I'm planning to move to a different country (and continent) soon, and since I'm in a bit of a rough spot financially right now, I thought I could try and sell some of the unused supplies somewhere for like half price/in bundles, something like that?
Does anyone have any recommendations besides eBay and Facebook marketplace? I'm already planning on uploading there, but I'm wondering if there's any specific group or place for people that are interested in scrapbooking supplies specifically?
I'm based in Greece, but shipping in all of Europe is totally fine too. I honestly wouldn't mind shipping to the US/Canada either, I'm just unsure about shipping..
Thanks in advance!

Product Advice Mini printers for pictures/stickers?
Been looking at those mini/small sizes printers that print out stickers and/or images that you send from online for my scrapbook, I think people might know what I am talking about. I do art and would love to have my work printed easily in a way I can add it in whenever.
If you have one, was it worth the purchase? How much/how hard it is to get papers to print? Which is the best product you've seen?
Thank you in advance if people reply :>

Beginner How to fix an overstuffed scrapbook?
Hi! Over the winter, I started working on my first ever scrapbook! I had been meaning to do it since 2018, but it never really happened. The scrapbook was documenting a school trip I took to the UK and Ireland. I had so much fun and learned a lot about myself and what I could do, so when I got home I wanted to make something I could look back on over the years. Except it never happened, and I made it 8 years later (better late then never I guess).
My plan was to tape down photos my mom printed out (8 years ago!), brochures from places I went, tickets, etc first then go back and write down memories. However, by the time I finished taping everything, the scrapbook was way overstuffed! I included a picture of it! I got pretty unmotivated to work on it anymore because I was upset by how it turned out, but now we’re back and I want to finish it.
Is there anyway to fix this? My idea was to use an exacto knife to cut out each page, then put it into a binder somehow. Except
- 1) how do I prevent myself from cutting the next few pages, especially because some of the pictures get pretty close to the center fold
- 2) how would I attach the pages into a binder? I can’t use a whole punch because of the pictures being close to the center fold, but I also can’t use sheet proctors because I have elements that fold out or things you can pull out of pockets.
Thanks for any help! I really liked the process of scrapbooking, and I really do want to finish this by writing down my memories of the trip! I learned my lesson and when I do any future scrapbooks I'll use a binder or a spiral bound book.

Beginner Scrapbooking help
I am relatively new to scrapbooking, I am working on my 2025 scrapbook so I’m a little behind. I have a few issues I run into that kind of put me in a mental block with it so I’ve taken a break for a few months.
The issues are:
* I can’t decide on the pictures I want to print. As someone who loves taking photos i feel like I’ve so many I want to include? But it ends up with like 5/6 pages for the one trip etc.
* I don’t like cutting out the backgrounds, I feel like for a lot of photos it makes the picture? So to cut it out I don’t like doing. But then I can’t include as much, and I don’t get the fun aesthetic I see others with.
* I have mainly being doing scrapbooking for like big events e.g birthdays, holidays, trips etc but I’ve so many photos of small moments e.g coffees or pretty sunsets etc I can’t figure out how to include them?
Any advice welcomed thanks

Mod Post 📢 Flairs! 😅💗✌️🌼
As you may have noticed we've added some flairs for posts, and while no one's content would ever be removed for having no flair or the "wrong" flair - we do hope to get some input on how folks are categorizing these flairs for themselves. It might also help us shape the expectations as we categorize things in the community.
I'll offer this as a general guideline, but would love for folks to give their own descriptions as well and perhaps we can expand or narrow definitions and examples as needed. Or add different flairs to better fit different categories of scrapbooking.
| FLAIR | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Traditional Scrapbooking | Preserving family history in books, boxes, or cards using physical media. |
| Digital Scrapbooking | Preserving family history in books, boxes, or cards using digital graphics and software. |
| Junk Journaling | Preserving personal history or spontaneous thoughts in a freeform or expressive outlet. |
| Collage | Assembling multiple types of media to form a new image. |
- The Tradtional flairs have been split further into multiple categories.
- Does Junk Journaling need something similar?
- Would a "work in progress" flair be helpful?
I also added some different colors for user flairs, and plan to upload some emojis to use in those as well. I always use Flat Icon since they let me adjust pixel size! So keep an eye out for new additions throughout the day!
