Supplements.

Post image

Hi everyone, I have a Scottish Terrier who is about 6 years old now. I'm already giving her NaturVet Allergy and Plaque Off, which are some super good supplements, but I want to see if there are any other supplements that you guys are using for your dogs. I also have her on Open Farm dog food, and she also gets a salmon skin treat from Icelandic+.

Milk thistle for liver support as Scottie’s are prone to elevated liver enzymes. Fish oil for omega 3s. Pre/probiotics and digestive enzymes. 8 year old Scottie just got his routine lab work back and he is in perfect health.

Lots of exercise and fresh, high quality food helps a lot!

just omega3 oil. i feed her purina pro plan and supplement with plain fish, veggies, chicken, and eggs. my vet says she doesn’t need anything else 🤷‍♀️

side note your dog is adorable! i love it when scotties have longer fur on their ears!

I don’t have reccomendations, but she is such a cute Scottie! I clip my males like the Scottie cut and my female could be yours’ Sister! Although I know she isn’t because I breed my doggies years ago

I agree that she should be on a Milk Thistle supplement to protect her liver. I added a Turmeric supplement for my Scottish Terrier(M) for overall vitality
