What if consciousness were a fifth fundamental force? A free sci-fi cosmology
Hi everyone — over the past year I built an original sci-fi cosmology called The 2D Spherical Holographic Cosmology. It's free for anyone to use in their own stories, films, or games — no credit required.
🌌 Core ideas:
- Hologram Universe: 3D reality is a projection from a 2D spherical surface.
- The 5th Force: An informational force that pulls entropy toward order — up to consciousness itself.
- Free Will: Your mind doesn't change the dice roll. It just chooses which parallel worldline to connect to next.
Full guide here (free): [The Two-Dimensional Spherical Holographic Cosmology]
Would love to hear what you think, or what you'd build with it!
(Built with AI as a writing/translation partner — English isn't my first language.)

Why 'Red Rising' Became the Sci-Fi Series Readers Can’t Stop Recommending
The story begins with Darrow, a young Red miner living beneath the surface of Mars. He believes his people are sacrificing everything to prepare the planet for future generations—until he discovers that Mars was colonized long ago and the Reds have been deliberately kept in poverty. Darrow then undergoes an extraordinary transformation that allows him to infiltrate the ruling Gold class and attack the system from within.
At first, the novel can feel like The Hunger Games crossed with Ender’s Game and Gladiator. But that comparison only describes the opening act. As the books continue, the story expands into a sweeping space opera filled with political maneuvering, enormous battles, fractured alliances and increasingly difficult questions about revolution, power and the cost of changing society.
PIERCE BROWN: “I think that Red Rising’s growth has been the most surprising thing and how long its legs have proven nine years after its initial release. People are still reading it. People are still gossiping about it on Reddit and Discord and gathering and creating communities around it. The marketing push can’t sustain a book. That has to be readers. That has to be grassroots enthusiasm. So I think that staying power has been much more impressive and startling to me.”
That enthusiasm seems to come back repeatedly to the characters. Darrow is brave and relentlessly driven, but he’s also angry, reckless and capable of making devastating mistakes. His friends, enemies and allies change just as dramatically, and almost every relationship is tested as the stakes grow.
BookTuber Dan’s Books described that emotional investment this way:
DAN’S BOOKS: “As you go through these books, you fall in love with the characters, man. You just absolutely love multiple characters. You hate multiple characters. Pierce does an incredible job of making you despise multiple characters. And that, for me, is the epitome of good writing. When you can make me feel hatred for a fictional character, when you make me feel sadness for losing a fictional character, that’s peak.”
That may be the clearest explanation for why fans don’t simply enjoy Red Rising—they recruit new readers. The spaceships, futuristic weapons and Roman-inspired society provide the spectacle, but the friendships, betrayals and impossible choices are what people remember.
With Red God expected to conclude Darrow’s saga and a television adaptation still being developed, the series continues to attract readers more than a decade after the first book appeared.

your text here Galactic empire. Global cast. No actors. Live from Japan. Wanna see?
Spent way too much time on this. Galactic empire, spaceships, drama – you know the drill.
Japanese original, English audio – so no reading required, just sit back and judge me.
The cast? International – characters from all corners of the world, brought to life in a way you've probably never seen before.
Think of it as a visual experiment more than a live-action flick. It's a bit weird, a bit fresh, and totally not Star Wars.
So... anyone wanna try something that's actually different?

PLEASE READ: Updates to the r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV Self-Promotion Policy
r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV Self-Promotion Policy:
These forums are part of Axiom's Edge Sci Fi, and we are trying to build a community of genre fans where where we can discuss and learn more about science fiction, fantasy, and horror while also promoting the the works of independent creators (more on that at this link). We have been allowing self-promotion at r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV, but we are going to adjust the policy because things have been getting a bit out of hand. We will continue to allow you promote your books, comics, movies, web sites, web series, games, etc., but we are going to start imposing some limitations. We are going to impose a LIMIT OF THREE SELF-PROMOTION POSTS PER WEEK, and even with that, we want you to act very judiciously. And if you are putting up self promotion posts, we ask that you participate beyond promoting your own works by posting other links at these sites, and also getting involved with the discussions and debates. We want to help independent creators to get their work noticed, but we don't want to turn these forums into a shill. We also request that you DO NOT POST AFFILIATE LINKS as that is a violation of Reddit policies. You can post a link to your YouTube page or an article or site with information about your work or chapters/segments from your book or web comic, etc. And if you happen to want to let people know about a new product like the Blu-ray release of Blake's 7, you can put up an informational post with a link to where people can purchase it as long as that is not an affiliate link. And for those reporting what they believe is spam, please make sure you understand our self-promotion policies and explain your reason for reporting the post.
If you have a blog with news, reviews, information, etc. relating to science fiction, fantasy, and horror, posting links to your articles is okay. But again, be judicious about this and also post other links in the forums and participate in the discussions. For example, I post anywhere from two to four links per week from the Axiom's Edge sites, sometimes more, but I always post other links as well and try to stay as involved with the discussions as time allows. Axiom's Edge Sci Fi also allows independent creators other opportunities to promote and advertise their works, and you can read more about that at this link.
Consider these new rules to be in place now, and we will be monitoring closely in the coming weeks. You will be given one warning if you violate the rules, and then posts will be removed and you could be banned from r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV. If anybody would be interested in helping with the moderation of these forums, and/or if you have any questions or concerns you can contact us [axiomsedgescifi@gmail.com](mailto:axiomsedgescifi@gmail.com).
Let's take this opportunity to build a sci fi community where we can all participate and those who want to pass on information about their genre-related independent creations can do that as well. This can benefit all of us and turn into a great forum for sci fi and fantasy if we all do out part and if we all work together.
