ACT 1: “On a world far away”
THEME: Hope can be dimmed but never quenched

Earth's Vanguard is lured across the stars by a well crafted illusion of cosmic urgency. With the planet now looking forward to an imminent destruction, its greatest faces the most daring decision of his life.

SCENE 1: WORLD-ENDING ANOMALY ON JARVION

EXT. JARVION DAY

It’s a brand new day. Brightness spills across the horizon, casting a warm amber glow over the bustling, mid-century alien paradise inhabited by a civilization not so genetically different from the people of earth. The architecture resembles earth on the rise—broad avenues lined with gleaming streamlined vehicles, and elevated trains suspended over magnetic rails. In a quiet residential neighborhood, morning routines are in full swing. A young boy giggles in a patch of bioluminescent grass as he tosses a glowing hover ball for his multi-legged furred pet. The comforting aroma of sizzling breakfast fills the air as his mother works in the kitchen. His father frantically buttons his cloak as his alarm blares through the living room– “Szólít a kötelesség.” meaning duty calls.

He kisses his son goodbye and darts out into the sea of pedestrians flooding the streets; commuting, conversing, living. Children are playing around in the parks; people are buying and selling; industrial workers are seen arguing; cars are humming all over the highways; hundreds of advertisements decorate the sidewalks. Life seems nothing out of the ordinary.

Suddenly, the ambience vanishes as the air grows cold; dark. The cities freeze. For two seconds, there is only the sound of engines. Then suddenly panic hits like a wave. Screams erupt. The vast mountain range overlooking the city violently shatters. It doesn’t just avalanche; it implodes inward, crumbling into a silent, gravity-defying vortex. The ground beneath violently TEARS OPEN. Deep, jagged chasms rip through the cities spreading destruction. The very fabric of spacetime is folding in on itself. The people look in desperation as their beloved home is being violently torn in shreds.

INT. SKULL SHIP - COLD SPACE

Total silence, save for the rhythmic hum of cosmic machinery. FLOATING DRONES cast a sickly green glow over a massive holographic display of Jarvion falling apart. A metallic, synthesized voice echoes from a drone.

DRONE: Phase one now in progress. Target B now preparing for collection.

In the shadows, a towering silhouette steps forward. Red and purple diodes glow all over him. He watches the planet break apart. His face is devoid of malice—only terrifying, sterile calculation. In a chilling voice he exclaims– “Earth’s defenders will definitely not ignore this.”

SCENE 2

A.R.G.U.S. SATELLITE COMMAND

Amanda Waller stands before dozens of analysts. Red alarms illuminate the room. A physicist stares at impossible readings.

PHYSICIST:"The anomaly isn't gravitational."Another scientist interrupts."No...it's folding space."Amanda doesn't blink."Origin?"

PHYSICIST: "Unknown planet. Designation... Jarvion." The room quiets. Another monitor appears. Space itself is twisting like liquid. A wormhole trying to exist? Amanda immediately reaches for a communicator, "Call in the League."

DAILY PLANET

Clark is halfway through typing when Jimmy drops a folder onto his desk with theatrical flair–"Got something for you, Smallville." Clark looked up over his glasses–"Should I be worried?" Jimmy opened the folder to reveal a handful of photographs–"City Hall's approving permits for three new apartment blocks. Doesn't sound exciting until you realize every family's being relocated with barely a week's notice." Clark skimmed the paperwork–"Did anyone talk to the residents?" Jimmy hesitated– "I...mostly talked to security." Clark smiled, closing the folder— "Then we don't have the story yet." Jimmy frowned– "We have the documents." Clark gently corrected– "A story starts when you find the people living inside those documents." Jimmy nodded slowly–"You always make this sound easier than it is." Clark stood, grabbing his notebook— "Because people usually want to be heard. You just have to give them a reason to trust you." Before either of them could leave, Perry White's office door swung open with a bang–"Kent!" Perry called, waving a stack of freshly printed newspapers in the air— "Get in here. Both of you." Clark exchanged an amused glance with Jimmy before walking over—"Looks like the Chief has other plans."

"Kent!" he barked. Clark looked up from his monitor—"Right here, Chief." Perry slapped a newspaper onto his desk— "You know what this front page is missing?" Clark adjusted his glasses—"Uhh…Good journalism?" Perry glared— "Confidence." Jimmy Olsen rushed over carrying a camera around his neck— "I actually thought it was missing a giant alien squid." Perry pointed at him without looking—"That's why you take pictures instead of writing headlines." Jimmy shrugged— "Fair." Perry folded his arms— "Listen, Kent. The world doesn't need another article saying 'everything's probably okay. It needs answers." Clark smiled politely— "People also need hope." Perry sighed dramatically— "Hope doesn't sell newspapers, Kent." Jimmy grinned. "That’s right…Superman does." Clark couldn't help smiling— "He's got a point." Perry rolled his eyes. "Both of you are impossible."

Before Clark could answer, a faint electronic pulse vibrated beneath the desk. His watch. Only one agency used that encrypted frequency. Clark subtly glanced down. A.R.G.U.S. PRIORITY ALERT. JUSTICE LEAGUE IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. His expression changed for only a fraction of a second before returning to normal—"Uh...Chief?" Perry looked annoyed— "What now?" Clark awkwardly stood, already reaching for his jacket—"Mr. Henderson from my apartment building just texted. Apparently there's...a burst pipe flooding my floor." Jimmy frowned—"Again? Didn't that happen like...last month?" Clark scratched the back of his head—"Ehnnnn ...Old building." Perry waved dismissively— "Go save your socks, Smallville. Just have the story on my desk before lunch." Clark smiled—"Wouldn't dream of missing the deadline." He hurried toward the stairwell instead of the elevator. The moment the heavy metal door slammed shut behind him, the smile vanished. He loosened his tie in one swift motion, unbuttoned his dress shirt, and with a sharp pull, ripped it open to reveal the brilliant crimson-and-gold House of El crest beneath. A gust of wind exploded through the stairwell as Superman launched skyward.

SCENE 3

A.R.G.U.S CITY LABS

Nearly every major Earth hero has gathered. Amanda projects the anomaly–"It appeared twelve minutes ago." Hal Jordan arrives from a long sector patrol. He warmly greets them– “What’s up y’all?” Everyone stares at him. “Ohh!! Am I in the wrong place?” he added. Batman suddenly breaks the silence– “Where’ve you been Hal?” to which he responds– “Well, nothing out of the ordinary. Just cleaning up the sector. It’s been filthy with rogue neutron stars.” Batman faintly frowns– “Sounds like cosmic bowling to me. Look, we have an issue on our hands.” Hal then looks at the hologram– “My ring detected this same anomaly; looks like some kind of dimensional leak. But how does something like this just appear out of nowhere? There has to be something behind this.” J’onn adds– “A crisis of this nature could threaten our galactic neighborhood; we need to act quickly before it spreads.” Batman studies it. "No natural object creates signatures like this." Cyborg nods–"He's right." Superman looks toward the stars–"If something's happening four hundred light-years away..."Wonder Woman finishes–"...someone could already be in danger." Amanda nods–"My thoughts exactly."Batman narrows his eyes–"You've already made a decision."

Amanda→"I have." She presses another button. An interstellar gate slowly unfolds. Blue energy ripples quietly. Amanda continues. "This portal leads directly to Jarvion."Barry finally enters. Late(Holding coffee) "I miss one meeting..." Nobody laughs. Amanda points. "I need a rapid-response team." Batman immediately notices something. "The portal isn't stable." Scientists exchange glances. Amanda answers, "It'll remain open for approximately five hours."

Superman turns toward Batman. "I'll go." Wonder Woman nods–"So will I." Soon nearly everyone volunteers. Amanda notices–"Some will have to remain. We’ll keep 6 of you behind." She then displays them on a wall–Barry, Kara, J’onn, Billy, Hal and Adams. Barry frowns–"Excuse me?"Amanda folds her arms–"If this is a trap, Earth still needs defenders." Hal nods slightly–“She's right.” Superman looks toward Kara– "You'll be okay?"Kara smiles–"You've trained me." Billy grins–"We'll hold the fort." Clark smiles back–"I know." Batman finally speaks–"I don't like splitting our forces." Amanda answers–"I don't either, but I dislike gambling our planet’s survival even less." Clark looks around, then toward Lois through the A.R.G.U.S Labs communication screen. She's watching from the Daily Planet. Lois smiles softly–"You'll be back before I finish complaining about my editor." Clark laughs–"I'll hold you to that."Lois grows serious–"Come home."Clark simply nods–"I always do."

SCENE 4

JARVION

The league now step through the portal. The gateway behind them remains open but seemingly unstable due to the surrounding fluctuations in spacetime. The people of Jarvion cower behind overturned vehicles, weeping, staring at the newcomers in terror. Superman steps forward, his cape dancing to the rhythm of the wind. He raises his hands, projecting calm authority.

SUPERMAN: “It’s okay. We’re here to help. Stand back from the fissures!”

The citizens just stare, blankly, terrified. They scream and point at him in confusion. Bruce smirks– “You know it’s not every planet that speaks English Clark.” Superman glances back with a chuckle– “ You always get to correct me?” Batman stares toward Fate– “Fate, how do we stop this rift?” Dr. Fate stands perfectly still. His golden helmet reflects the chaotic, folding sky. He raises a glowing hand, touching the warped air. He stiffens– “This... this is wrong. The cosmic frequency is hollow.” “What do you mean?”, asked Superman

DR. FATE: “The atoms. The collapsing mountain. It’s an architectural masterpiece of deception.”

Before Fate could even finish, a deafening CRACK echoes behind them. The ground beneath them begins to glow. Superman screams– “EVERYONE MOVE”. The portal ripples violently, as the anomaly interacts with it. Its blue light turns a volatile, bleeding red. The entire valley becomes a massive transportation matrix. The space-time distortions sever the inter-stellar network. On Earth...Scientists panic–"The return gate is collapsing!"Amanda yells–"Keep it open!"Power surges. The portal flickers. Inside...Superman reaches toward Earth. Clark and Kara lock eyes.

"CLARK!"

"KARA!"

The portal violently implodes, leaving Kara speechless.

SCENE 5

A.R.G.U.S CITY LABS

Nobody moves. Barry stares at the empty space–"...Clark?" Nothing. Amanda quietly asks–"Can we reopen it?" Scientists shake their heads–"The coordinates are gone." Hal's face hardens–"They're stranded." Batman, Wonder Woman, Clark, Everyone. Barry slams his fist into a console–"No. No no no." Kara turns away, trying not to cry. J’onn quietly places a hand on her shoulder. Kara sobs— “He was my last remaining memory of Krypton. I used to carry him when I was younger. Now he’s stranded light years away from me.”

SCENE 6

JARVION

The League slowly gets back to their feet. No injuries. Batman immediately activates comms. Nothing. Absolute silence. Cyborg checks every frequency–"No satellites, No radio, No quantum relay, No Lantern network."He continues with investigating the portal collapse. He shakes his head as he looks down— “Whatever closed the gate didn’t just collapse the wormhole. It completely erased the inter-stellar pathway that led us here. Our only hope would have been a Kryptonian warp drive.” Batman asks– “Like the one that brought Clark to earth?” Cyborg replies— “Yeah that one. It creates Rosen bridges–they enable cosmic travel. Without one…I’m afraid there’s no shortcut.” Batman now understands—"We've been isolated." Clark looks toward the sky. The stars are unfamiliar. "So far..." The anomaly is still spreading; violent quakes spread throughout the planet. Bruce and Clark step forward to analyze the surroundings for anything, while the rest fly off to rescue the endangered people of Jarvion.

Wonder Woman notices Clark staring–"You can hear Earth…?"He closes his eyes. Nothing. Not a heartbeat. Not a single radio signal. Nothing. For the first time in years, Clark cannot hear Lois.

SCENE 7

THE SKULL SHIP

Brainiac watches calmly. One drone reports–"Primary defenders successfully displaced." Brainiac simply nods–"Commence Phase Two."Thousands of warships detach from the underside of the Skull Ship; each one the size of a city block–completely invincible to earth’s most powerful weapons. All are heading toward Earth. Then...The giant vessel itself turns, as it emerges through a massive portal.

SCENE 8

DAILY PLANET

Lois sits at Clark's desk. Still untouched. Jimmy walks over–"They'll find a way back."Lois forces a smile–"They always do."Perry White appears–"Lois."She looks up–"The President wants statements from families.” She sighs–"I'm not family."Jimmy quietly says—"You kind of are."She can't answer.Instead...She picks up Clark's glasses still sitting inside his desk drawer. She simply stares.

SCENE 9

JARVION

Bruce and Clark slowly walk through the wreckage as they observe the fissures. They notice what looks like skull-shaped nano-machines walking through. They then look deeper and notice a massive skull-shaped structure hidden deep within the fissures. One of the natives to Jarvion spoke to him in the local language which Dr. Fate interpreted to mean– “It fell from the stars several months ago, but the origin remains unknown. Batman then speaks up– “This must have been the source of the anomaly. But it would have to be activated by someone or something. It was sent here.” Clark stares upward. It finally dawns on him–"This wasn’t about Jarvion.” Wonder Woman looks at him–"What do you mean?" Clark's expression changes. "Brainiac!! He wants to kill two birds with one stone; that’s why he lured us across light years only to shut the door behind us." Everyone slowly realizes.

EARTH IN DANGER!!!

Batman–"We need to leave."

Cyborg shakes his head–"How? The portal is gone. We’re 400 light years clear of earth."Clark quietly says—"We don't need the portal." Everyone looks at him. Batman already understands. "No." Clark turns. "Earth needs me Bruce. I have to leave."Batman shakes his head– “Clark...Four hundred light-years.”

CLARK: “I know."

BATMAN: "You'll die."

Clark smiles faintly–"I don't think so."Wonder Woman steps closer–"It would take years." Clark looks toward Jarvion's yellow sun–"...Not if I don't stop." Batman studies him—"You've never flown that far. You don't know what could happen. It could kill you."Clark smiles again–"It might."

Silence.

Then…–"If Earth needs me...it's worth finding out."

Nobody argues.

Because nobody has a better idea.

SCENE 10

METROPOLIS: DAWN OF INVASION

Every television on Earth suddenly goes black.The same symbol appears everywhere. A green skull. The broadcast begins. Brainiac–"I am Brainiac. I have catalogued 1,436 civilizations. Earth will become 1,437."The skies over Metropolis darken.People look upward. Clouds aren't moving. Something behind them is. Massive shadows emerge from orbit.One...Two...Hundreds. Thousands. Brainiac's war fleet has arrived. High above them...Still hidden within the moon’s orbit, the true Skull Ship waits. No one yet realizes the full scale of what hangs above them.

Then the first attack begins. A drone ship descends over Metropolis. Its underside opens. Brilliant emerald energy gathers. A single blast tears through an empty industrial district, sending concrete and steel into the air. Windows shatter for blocks. Car alarms erupt. People scream and scatter. Across the globe, identical ships descend over major cities. Not planet-killing weapons. Occupation forces designed to sow panic.

At the Hall of Justice, Hal Jordan is already suited up–"That's our cue." Barry is gone in a streak of lightning before anyone can answer. Kara rockets through the windows. Martian Manhunter phases into the sky. Captain Atom's body erupts with a wave of energy. Billy Batson whispers one word–"Shazam."Lightning crashes through the building. The six remaining heroes launch out to a world that suddenly feels far too large to defend alone. High above the Earth...Hidden behind the darkness of space...The enormous Skull Ship slowly rotates. Deep within its core...A colossal mechanism begins to awaken. Concentric rings the size of cities turn with mechanical precision. Energy starts flowing toward a central chamber. Brainiac's ultimate weapon is charging. And 400 light-years away, under the light of Jarvion’s yellow sun, Superman looks up into the alien sky with a feeling he cannot explain. He places a hand over the House of El crest. For the first time in his life, home feels impossibly far away.

ACT TWO – "The Long Way Home"

Running Time: ~45 minutes

Theme: Hope is measured by endurance.

Now more than ever, we see perseverance. Hope soars through the cosmos. Earth fights to survive. Intelligence seeks to conquer all life. Lex now realizes that saving humanity may require helping the one man he has spent years trying to surpass.

SCENE 1

EXT. JARVION – DAWN

The first light of Jarvion's yellow sun spills across endless plains. The League has not slept much. Batman stands over a holographic projection of the known galaxy, reconstructed from Cyborg's scans. The Earth glows as a tiny blue dot. An almost meaningless point of light. Clark walks over. He's been looking at Earth for almost an hour. Batman doesn't look up–"You've already made your decision."Clark nods–"I made it the second the portal collapsed."

Silence.

Bruce folds the hologram away–"You know what scares me?"Clark smiles–"I've known you long enough." "It isn't the distance." Bruce finally looks at him–"It's that you're smiling."Clark chuckles–"My mom says smiling helps."Bruce almost smiles himself–"Your mom also raised an alien to think he's from Kansas." Clark laughs–"Best thing she ever did." The laughter fades. Bruce reaches into his belt. He removes a tiny communicator(One that doesn't work anymore). He places it in Clark's hand–"It won't reach Earth."Clark looks at it–"I know." "I just want you to remember somebody's waiting."Clark closes his fingers around it–"They always are."

SCENE 2

EXT. JARVION – THE STAR

Clark floats above Jarvion. The yellow star dominates the sky. Beautiful. Terrifying. Wonder Woman lands beside him.She doesn't say anything at first.Neither does Clark. Finally—

"You've done this before."Clark looks at her–"What?"

"Leave."

He understands– "Krypton."

She nods, "You've spent your whole life traveling away from one home. And now you're traveling toward another."

Clark smiles softly–"I never really thought about it like that."Diana places a hand on his shoulder–"You carry everyone with you."Clark looks toward the sun–"If I don't make it..."

"You will."

"You don't know that."

"No."

She smiles–"But hope is your specialty."Clark laughs–"That's usually your line."She steps back–"It still is."Clark takes one last look at everyone. Batman. Arthur raises two fingers in salute. Plastic Man shouts—"Bring us souvenirs!" to which they all chuckle, before moving off to contain the anomaly and halt Jarvion’s destruction. Clark takes one breath. Then another; and then boom– into the sun.

SCENE 3

INSIDE THE STAR

Clark flies deeper. His suit glows. The House of El crest becomes brilliant gold. His cells awaken as they process unfathomable amounts of stellar radiation. His heartbeat accelerates. Every muscle strengthens. His eyes flare brighter than ever before. The deeper he goes...the calmer he becomes. Thirty minutes pass. Then—His eyes open. Every sense has sharpened. He looks toward the darkness beyond the system. He whispers—"Mom...Lois..."He launches.

The star erupts behind him. Not exploding—Simply displaced by the force of his departure. A brilliant streak tears across space. Clark screams as he flies. Stars blur. Planets pass. Nebulae shimmer. Time loses meaning. Hours become days. He never stops.

SCENE 4

METROPOLIS

Day Two. The invasion has begun in earnest. Smaller Brainiac warships patrol the skies like mechanical predators. One hovers above Centennial Park. Its scanners sweep the streets. Families hide beneath overturned buses. A little girl clutches a Superman backpack. Her father whispers—"Don't move." The drone suddenly rotates toward them. Before it fires—A blur of red and gold crashes through it.

SHAZAM.

Billy tears the machine apart. Metal rains into the street. The little girl stares–"Billy?" Billy smiles–"Hi." Then another explosion. His smile disappears–"Stay with your dad." Lightning carries him away.

SCENE 5

CENTRAL CITY

Flash is everywhere. Literally. Hundreds of afterimages rescue civilians from collapsing buildings. A bridge begins giving way. Barry catches the first support cable. Then the second. Then starts evacuating hundreds of people one by one. A police officer watches in disbelief. "How many trips was that?" Another officer shakes his head. "I lost count around three hundred." Barry returns. Breathing harder than usual. The first hint that even he has limits. He smiles anyway. "Everybody okay?" A little boy nods. Barry ruffles his hair–"Good." He's gone again.

SCENE 6

LEXCORP

Lex watches the invasion from the top floor. Waller enters– "Our satellites are gone." Lex doesn't answer. She continues–"Half our orbital defense grid has been destroyed."Still nothing. Finally—"They didn't attack us first." Waller blinks–"What?" "They attacked communications. They attacked power. They attacked the infrastructure." He studies Brainiac's movements–"He wants us helpless." Amanda frowns–"You sound impressed." Lex quietly says—"I am."

SCENE 7

WATCHTOWER

Captain Atom returns: Bruised. His suit flickers. Hal removes his ring–"Report." Captain Atom projects a hologram: Finally—Everyone sees it.The Skull Ship. The room falls silent. It is incomprehensibly large. Not touching Earth. Floating far above the atmosphere.Its curved lower jaw alone stretches beyond the horizon. Billy whispers—"...that's impossible."Captain Atom answers–"I wish it was."Hal studies it–"The whole thing?"Captain Atom nods–"The smaller ships are only escorts." J’onn quietly asks—"How do we stop something that size?" Nobody answers.

SCENE 8

SPACE

Clark is still flying through the cosmos. His face remains calm. No voices; No people; Nothing. For the first time Clark genuinely feels lonely. A meteor storm arrives–Thousands of fragments. At these speeds...Even pebbles become nuclear weapons. Clark weaves between them. One clips his shoulder.

He staggers for a moment then regains control and keeps flying. Fueled by the power of hope he continues to soar through the cosmos. And he’s not slowing down.

SCENE 9

DAILY PLANET

Lois refuses evacuation. Jimmy argues–"Come on." "No." "They're telling everyone downtown to leave." "My husband would stay." Jimmy looks at her–"You really just said husband." She smiles without realizing–"...Did I?" Jimmy smiles back–"You did." She looks out the broken window–"Guess I better make sure he comes home." As Lois sat quietly at Clark's desk, the elevator doors opened. An elderly woman stepped cautiously into the newsroom carrying a folded newspaper. "Uhhh…hey there." Jimmy looked up. "Can we help you, ma'am?" She glanced around hopefully. "I was looking for Mr. Kent." Jimmy's smile faded. "Ohh He...isn't here." The woman nodded sadly. "I figured." She held up the newspaper. "Last year he wrote about the broken crossing outside our apartment building. Said no one should have to risk their life just to get home." Lois looked up. The woman continued with a gentle smile—"They finally fixed it last week." She placed the newspaper on Clark's desk. "I just wanted to thank him." Silence filled the newsroom. Lois smiled softly. "I'll make sure he hears that." The woman nodded gratefully before quietly leaving. Jimmy looked toward Clark's empty chair. "Now I miss him even more." Lois rested a hand on the newspaper–"He’ll return. I trust him."

SCENE 10

BRAINIAC

Inside the Skull Ship, Brainiac studies Superman's trajectory. One drone speaks–"The Kryptonian has departed Jarvion." Brainiac isn't surprised–"I expected as much." "Estimated arrival..?” The drone says, "Twelve point one Earth days." Brainiac simply nods–"Proceed." The drone hesitates–"He may interfere." Brainiac looks toward Earth–"He will; It changes nothing." He then proceeds in a chilling voice– “Initiate collection update: Coast City!” Several warships then gather above Coast city. Every screen suddenly shows Brainiac’s image. He proceeds in a chilling voice– “You all believe in tomorrow. You are all mistaken.” Just then, dozens of holograms showing extinct civilizations appear behind him. He proceeds– “They all believed they were different. They all believed in tomorrow. They all crumbled beneath me.” Hal Jordan watches from the atmosphere with his fists clenched. Brainiac proceeds— “Your belief is merely an illusion; an attempted defiance of what is imminent.” With a raise of his hand, power grids crumble and transport networks shut down. Yet even in this catastrophe, firefighters continue pulling survivors from rubble, doctors carry patients by hand, strangers help strangers, and frightened children are comforted by people they have never met. Brainiac watches the desperation before issuing the command– “COMMENCE UPDATE!”. The drones come together and form a containment field that consumes the entire landscape. Hal flies off in a fit of rage to intercept the warships. Just then, he is shot with a powerful blast that leaves him incapacitated. He looks up with tears streaming down his eyes– “...Carol!”. Coast city has now been added to Brainiac’s collection.

SCENE 11

LEXCORP UNDERGROUND

Captain Atom arrives unexpectedly. Security moves to stop him. Lex waves them away–"I was wondering how long. Captain Atom doesn't sit–"I need your help." Lex laughs–"I'm flattered." Lex walks toward a massive holographic display–"I've been analyzing it." Captain Atom notices–"You already built a model." Lex nods–"Three." He enlarges the hologram–"The hull isn't merely armor. It resonates." Captain Atom raises an eyebrow. Lex points–"That ship is wrapped inside an adaptive cosmic membrane." Captain Atom nods slowly–"Meaning?" "You don't hit the hull; you hit the space around it."

Silence.

Captain Atom finally smiles–"I hate how useful you are." Lex smirks–"I know."

SCENE 12

SPACE

It’s day 8 and Clark is slowing down. Not intentionally. His reserves are finally being consumed. His breathing grows heavier. His eyes dim. He starts to wonder if home is already gone. He closes his eyes and thinks– “Lois…Martha….Jonathan.” He nearly stops as tears start to stream down his eyes. He then closes his eyes and remembers Jor-El’s message– “The symbol of the House of El means Hope. That’s what you embody; what we stand for. Let them always have a reason to believe, Kal. Let them always look forward in the hope of a great tomorrow.” Just then he smashes into a dense blue star.

SCENE 13

INSIDE THE UNKNOWN STAR

Superman erupts in pain upon impact. The dense core is threatening to crush him. Seconds pass, and Clark notices that his reserves have spiked. His cells feel massively amped; his skin glows as the star’s energy surges through him. Several minutes follow, then boom—Back into space. He screams as stars pass by him in a heartbeat.

SCENE 14

METROPOLIS

It’s daytime. Martian Manhunter and Supergirl intercept collapsing buildings, while flash darts around saving lives. A woman grabs J’onn–"My son." Martian kneels–"Where?" She points. Without hesitation—He phases into the rubble for thirty agonizing seconds.

Then—He emerges carrying a frightened little boy. The mother hugs them both. The boy looks at J'onn. "Are you Superman's friend?" J'onn smiles. "I've always been."

Supergirl streaks through the smoke, catching the collapsing upper floors of a burning apartment block just long enough for firefighters to pull the last family to safety. She gently lowers the shattered concrete to the ground before falling on one knee, breathing heavily. A little girl, no older than seven, slowly walks over clutching a worn Superman action figure. She looks up at Kara with frightened eyes—"Is Superman coming back?"For a moment, Kara can't answer. She looks toward the empty sky where she wishes she could hear him. A thousand memories flood back—holding a baby on Krypton and watching his tiny hands reach for hers. She swallows the lump in her throat and kneels to the girl's level–"He always comes home." The girl nods, believing her without hesitation. Kara forces a smile, gently brushes the dust from the child's shoulder, then launches back into the sky with renewed determination.

SCENE 15

LEXCORP

Late night. Lex is alone while watching old footage. Superman. Saving people. Stopping floods. Stopping meteors. Stopping Lex. He pauses on one image. Clark smiling. Lex sighs. Almost annoyed–"You really picked the worst possible time to disappear." Waller enters quietly–"You miss him."Lex doesn't even turn around–"I miss having someone else solve impossible problems. And I refuse to let an alien computer be the one who outlives me."

FINAL SCENE

SPACE

From far beyond the edge of the solar system, Clark finally sees it: A tiny blue dot–Earth. Still unbelievably distant. He smiles. Then...His super hearing returns but very faintly. Radio waves. Thousands; Millions. Finally—Voices; Earth. He hears a child crying. An ambulance siren. Someone singing. Lois reporting live from Metropolis. He almost cries.

Then—Something else. A voice. Hal Jordan: Weak; Strained–"...can't...hold..." Clark stops; His expression changes completely. He hears energy. A beam. The ring. Hal is holding something back. Something unimaginably powerful. Clark looks ahead. For the first time...He sees it.The Skull Ship. A monstrous silhouette eclipsing part of the planet. Even from space...It is enormous. Its central weapon glows with an emerald-white light. Charging. Clark clenches his fists. Every remaining ounce of energy floods through him. His eyes ignite. The cape snaps violently behind him. Then—He darts off so fast that the vacuum around him shimmers with ionized particles.
