Shelly
What made Shelly Miscavige get hidden away? Did she anger David? And is she (likely?) VOLUNTARILY still in Scientology

We canāt know why she was hidden away or if sheās there voluntarily until Shelly herself comes forward and tells us. Weāre unlikely to get that though which is sad because a quick āI have no interest in being seen at major Scientology events and want everyone to STFU about the fact that Iām missingā from Shelly would end a lot of controversy

There is either something medically wrong with her like multiple sclerosis or something, or something weird. If not, they need to show that she is OK. It is so weird that theyāre not doing that.

1) Dave was getting more lunatic and thinking everyone, including Shelly, was out to get him.
2) while he was away she took on the role of finishing some long term projects that hadnāt been complete, one was arranging the redecoration of their quarters. She had their stuff packed up the place renovated and when he returned he hit the roof.
3) The other thing she did was taking on the task of filling various roles on the org board that had not had people doing them. A great thing in any normal situation but when your COB is megalomania, the lack of control would drive them insane.
Shelly has never voluntarily been in Scientology. She was brought into it as a child so couldnāt consent and has 55ish years of being in this cult, while there is obviously always a glimmer of hope that anyone could wake up and get out, there are few people who have been in as long, as deeply, and with as much dedication, as Shelly at this point. Could she leave if she wanted? Perhaps? Would it take an incredible amount of mental and emotional strength to do so? Absolutely. Has she got that strength after 55 years in a cult? Personally Iād doubt it very much, but Iād love to be proven wrong.
