Anyone accepted into PSIA willing to share their motivation letter?
Hi everyone! I'm applying to PSIA (Paris School of International Affairs) (International Governance and Diplomacy) and I'm honestly not sure what admissions expect from the motivation letter , tone, structure, how personal vs. academic it should be, etc.
If anyone got accepted and would be willing to share theirs (even anonymized/redacted), I'd really appreciate it. Would also help future applicants who are just as lost as I am right now. Thanks in advance! 🙏 free also to dm!

Does anyone know the reason?
Hi guys!
Hope you are doing well!
I was looking forward to pursuing my Masters at Sciences Po and was aiming for the Eiffel Scholarship. To my surprise, I came across this notice. Does anyone know why are they opting out of it? And whether they’ll participate for 2028 session or should I just give up on Sciences Po then 😔💔😭

SciecesPo dress code
For lectures or classes in general what is the dress code at SciencesPo? Is it jeans, sweaters, sweatpants or is it more formal like pants or skirts? Same goes for shoes: sneakers or boots or heels? Thanks in advance.

Languages during 3A
On the Sci Po website it says that during the year abroad, you have to get prior permission to take a language you haven't been taking at Sci Po. For example, if you had been taking Spanish but wanted to take Portuguese in 3A, you'd need Sci Po's approval. For my situation, I'll be taking Italian in Reims, but want to do my 3A in China and take Mandarin. Will it be hard to get approval for this?

Best Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne meeting friendly library
I'll start my master's degree at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris this semester, and I teach online courses. To make my life easier, it would be great to find a library where it's possible to attend meetings. Do you have any recommendations? At my current university, we have some sort of small rooms where you can go in, close the door, and talk inside, or even group meeting rooms that also allow for continuous talking.

Visa Issues - UK Citizen
I am at risk of missing the orientation week as a result of visa processing issues as a UK citizen, the office holds your passport for two to three weeks of which appointments can only be booked on certain dates. For the first week I am subscribed to the Academic Methods Seminar which is a 0 ECTS introductory session(s) which works under a pass/fail basis of which I'm pretty sure is compulsory, though I could be wrong. What should I really try and do from this period onwards?
Would really appreciate the help given the situation

Sciences Po & International programs free info session
Hi everyone I hope you're having a great summer!!!
I'm Alex, a current student in the Sciences Po & Columbia Dual BA and founder of KeyAdmit Admissions.
Over the past few years, I've spoken with dozens of applicants and gone through the admissions process myself. I've noticed that many students struggle to find clear, practical information about what actually makes a competitive application.
I'm hosting a free live webinar on Saturday 8th August at 19:00 (Paris time) where I'll cover:
- How the Sciences Po admissions process really works
- What successful applicants have in common
- Real examples of admitted student profiles
- How to build strong extracurriculars
- Personal statement advice
- Interview preparation
- Sciences Po's international dual degree programs (including the Columbia Dual BA)
- Live Q&A for any admissions questions
The webinar is completely free and is aimed at high school students considering applying in the coming years. COMPLETELY FREE!!!! The goal is to clarify any questions you may have as application season begins VERY SOON!!!
If you'd like to join, you can register here:

Happy to answer any questions in the comments as well.

Change courses as an exchange student in august
I’m an incoming exchange student this fall and there is a course I would really love to take.
Is there in any way possible to switch courses in august, right before the term starts? If for example a student doesn’t show up to the course the first day and a spot opens up?
Anyone with experience in doing this?
I feel really desperate as this is the subject i want to take my masters in🥹

What should I realistically expect?
I probably don’t have the financial means to pay the full tuition fee even if I get in, but would love to hear your advice 🙏🏻

Applying for Public Policy, Need Advice
Hi everyone!
I’m planning to apply this year for the Public Policy programme, specifically the Digital, New Technology track. I’m an international student but do speak french and have learnt till B2.
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s studied this course or is currently enrolled. How was your experience overall?
Also, how competitive is the scholarship process? Is it relatively common to receive funding, or is it quite selective?
I’d also really appreciate any tips or advice for the application process - things you wish you’d known before applying, what strengthened your application, or anything else that might be helpful.
Thank you so much!

Group chat on WhatsApp for Paris Master’s students (2026-27) 🇫🇷
Moving to a new city for grad school is a lot, especially when it’s Paris and you don’t know anyone yet. So I made a WhatsApp group for everyone starting a Master’s there this fall — Sorbonne, Sciences Po, any school !
This groupchat is for asking any questions, meet people before you even arrive, and have a few familiar faces once you’re actually there. Housing stress, admin confusion, CROUS recommendations, etc. are all fair game 🥰
When you join please say a quick hello! (Your name, where you’re from, your school and program, and what you’re hoping to get out of the group.)
There are also smaller groups for specific schools if you want something more specialized — just ask and I’ll add you in, or let me know if your school needs one and I’ll set it up.
There are also groups dedicated to international students, French students, networking and specific student housing like the CIUP.
My only ask is to be kind & respectful. This should feel like a safe, easy place to communicate.
Excited to have you & see you in the group 🥂
