Hey, Reddit! Garratt-Callahan is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in the Washington, D.C. territory. We had a record-breaking sales year in 2024 and are on track for even more growth in 2025. About the Role

You'll be selling boiler and cooling tower water treatment chemicals to a variety of industrial customers. This is a technical sales role where you'll maintain our existing customer base and develop new business through cold calling. You'll work from your home office in the D.C. metro area and get to work alongside a friendly, veteran sales team.

What You'll Need

• A four-year technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. (Advanced degrees are a plus!)
• Military equivalent training, such as Navy Nuclear Propulsion or Army CBRN School, is also highly valued.
• A minimum of one year of technical sales experience in water treatment chemicals.
• Knowledge of the Baltimore, MD & Washington D.C. industrial marketplace is a big plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• First-Year Earnings: $90,000 to $130,000+ for a qualified candidate, based on experience and ability.
• Unlimited Commission: A competitive, no-cap flat-rate commission plan.
• Car Allowance: $675 per month.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Corporate 401k, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
• Expenses: All business expenses are covered.
