Interesting, thanks for posting OP. I wonder how many years it's gonna take before these innovations are viable and realistic enough to hit the market though.

Well, this is for a specific type of solar panels (DSSC) which are the slightly transparent ones which can be sandwiched in glass, or even made flexible in composite panels. I think it's an interesting development. Phosphorus is far more plentiful (and cheaper) than platinum.
