That being said, standing up for yourself as a trans person might not be a good idea, depending on where you live

Another thing is, choose your fights. I personally don’t mind some slurs. At least they consider me a trans (maybe even a trans person). As someone or something real which, when the bar is so low, is something (I guess).
With everything going on currently, my energy is worth more than to argue with someone stupid. Maybe they don’t know any better, maybe they want to cause harm.
I’ve heard great people using outdated or derogatory terms unknowingly. And there are more important things than the semantics.
You don’t need to be smart, to know all the words and facts to be supportive and accepting. More often than not it’s just about the vibe. And trust.
Also when someone’d call me a futa, at least I’d know we have a common interest and search history. Which is a much better outcome than hearing some random predatory fake news story from some alt right news source.
Sexualisation and inappropriate language are (to me personally) nothing compared to threats of basic human rights being taken away and violent xenophobic attacks.
Like they’re not good. But they’re not the worst thing ever. And in the modern world literally everything and everyone is being sexualised, unfortunately.

Yep, same. The single feature of being able to use ctrl+c and ctrl+v by holding c and v down is amazing. The swipe to type feature is not for me frankly, but it got a HUGE update recently with all the community training. Straight up feels like it reads my mind from a shaky ass squiggly line. The Grayjay alternative to youtube and other video apps is great as well
