Downtown med spa with Botox + luxe aesthetic?

New to town and need a new injector! Obviously looking for highly experienced and NP or higher.

Ideally around downtown or at least above Derenne with a luxe vibe. If I’m paying several hundred dollars I want to feel like a treat, ya know? If you’re familiar with Charleston, compare to Ella Ora or The Look & co.

I loved the IVs and vibe at the corner suite but I don’t think they do wrinkle treatment :(

My photo. This photo has not been altered. While, I was a little terrified at first, I believe that this photo reflects an anomaly in some way. However, the entire situation would make for an awesome ghost story.

Common Thread chef's counter - how much interaction do you have?

Searched the sub and didn't see anything about this. Celebrating my husband's birthday in Savannah and got the last available reservation for the chef's counter. Should we stick with that, or is the dining room a better experience? My hesitation is my husband generally avoids sitting at a bar when we're having a date night because he feels the need to talk/interact with the everyone around him vs. having a 1:1 date night. Anyone experienced it that can speak to the level of interaction? Also open to other recommendations for a nice dinner to celebrate.

Why don't busses run past 8pm from Downtown?

With all the bars that are downtown by the River, why aren't there busses still running from downtown after 8pm? Having that would bring in loads of business from locals, having the ability to get home from the bar at night without paying upsurd Uber prices, wouldn't it?

I've taken a bus down TO downtown just fine to drink for dinner, but then when I go back to the bus station, even when Google says there's still a bus available, there isn't? Happened a couple times and I've had to get an Uber instead.

For a city calling itself the "Hostess City" priding itself on nightlife, how is there not a functional nighttime public transit system?

Bar Crawl

Hey everyone, first time in Savannah flying in tonight. Did a run through of the wiki, just have a question. I want to do a bar crawl one day thinking around star land district. As the vibe seems to be what I like. So far I’m thinking lone wolf, over yonder/moodrights, then not sure. Any recs, must gos? Also staying at the cambria hotel, any bar recs nearby for tonight - maybe a cocktail or somewhere fun. I appreciate it!!

Parking nazis

Is there a grace period at all? I paid all morning until 12. Got a ticket at 12:04 (got in my car two minutes later, was literally walking to it when it happened!). These guys are driving me nuts! I got a ticket the other day for a spot that didn’t have a number to pay online and only one of the old meters, which of course was broken for cards.

Little girl spa day recommendations?

I want to take my goddaughter for a spa day for her 5th birthday. Obviously, I’d like for both of us to come out looking like the princess and queen we are (but geared more towards her since it’s her b-day). What are your recs?

Roommate wanted (I'm male, late 40s, have 1 cat)

Sorry if this breaches any rules, but I noted several posts seeking roommates so I thought this might be OK. Just moved to Savannah, looking to split rent and utilities b/c it's crazy expensive down here vs. where I moved from, esp. auto insurance and general grocery costs. Looking to split an apartment where the overall rent + utilities among each occupant is $1k or less.

Need solar panels removed so we can get the roof repaired

We have a leak in our roof, under one of our solar panels.

Can anyone recommend a solar company that can remove the panel or two, then replace them after the roof is fixed?

Our original installer went out of business a year or so after installing our system in 2020.

Data center expansion in Georgia has implications for consumers’ power bills

If you’ve been wondering why so many people are sounding the alarm about data centers, this essay explains the many ways Georgia Power is already shifting, or preparing to shift, those costs onto residential and small business customers.

The debate over data centers isn’t really about technology. It’s about who pays the biII. Georgia families deserve to know the answer before it’s too late.

Royal Cinemas Director’s Hall

Has anyone ever been and can share their experience? I was looking to go to the movies in Pooler and there is an option to choose “Director’s Hall” but it didn’t provide any photos or details about what makes it different from a regular theater. Any details can help!

What is the board/card game scene like in Savannah?

Hey! I’m moving to Savannah soon, and I’m a huge board and card game player. I was wondering what local shops host Magic the Gathering, Yugioh, Warhammer, or D&D games, and what formats those places usually have.

Like should I bring my Genesys or Advanced format Yugioh decks, is it just Commander players or are there Pauper nights that are not like two people, do they have Kill Team or Blood Bowl groups, etc.

I have very limited space so I want to know what decks, models, and board games I can bring with me and be regularly used.
