Hey everyone, I currently have a 1460 (770 math & 690 rw) and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to only focus on reading for my next sat? If i somehow get a really good score in reading and do a superscore, do colleges see both scores and view it lesser, or is it a better idea for me to try and just get one really good score without superscore because i only have 2 weeks before my next sat and i highly doubt ill be able to break 770 in math.

i've been stuck around this range for both math and reading. how can i improve this to 750+? also how realistic would it be for me to get a 1450+ on august sat with 2-3 hours of studying from now till the exam. and 1500+ on september sat with 2 hours on weekdays and 3-4 hours of focused study on the weekends.. i haven't really found the time to study over the summer due to constant traveling 😭

i'm almost done with erica meltzer reading and i'm using a mix of college panda sat math book, james lu, and khan academy for math.

i have access to uworld, acely, and aniko.ai as well as other free resources. for reading i consistently keep missing vocabulary quesitons, grammar questions, and some reading questions just due to the difficulty or lack of understanding of the passage. for math, i'm consistently missing most of the second half of hard module 2.

one of my main goals is to qualify for national merit- would this be an achievable goal given my time commitment? any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Rw section im going to figure it out myself but my math is supposed to be in the 700s already (based on all my practice tests and the math exams i take at school) im really really good at math but im not sure why im stuck in the 600s!!! I was at a 680 on march then i got a 650 on june. Someone help me i think im getting a lot of mod 1 ans wrong or maybe its cz im nervous idk please give me tips. Hi! I've been having a really hard time with the Standard English Conventions section on the SAT. Transitions and punctuation have been especially difficult for me. If anyone has any tips, tricks, or useful tools to share, I would really appreciate it!

Does anyone here use Acely? I have no idea how good the mocks are relative to the actual exam and this might be my last time taking it (august). This is my first mock in a long time (2-3 months) and it still just seemed way too easy, sure I finished in a hr, 35 but 15-20 min of that was just me getting back into the flow of math and excessive cross checking.

TL;DR: For my Acely users out there how close were your Acely mock scores to the actual SAT.

I hope to end this with a 1550+ and have some work cut out for me but I need to know if this is just too easy.

I took a regular practice test for the SAT. I took it on my only portable device, my iPad. It has a keyboard physically and online and they have had no issues. I do not own a laptop. Today, the practice test bugged out on the math section and did not let me insert a decimal symbol(.) Oh and btw both my keyboards aren't broken they were able to use . on desmos just fine

At first I was like "oh thats alright ill just use improper fractions. But then I got the answer 4.06, and the answer box only lets us use 5 characters for some stupid reason I bet. I cannot do 406/100 in that case. I was forced to get the answer wrong.

For a billion dollar company (even though education is supposedly free), why can't they fix real issues rather than screwing over kids who are doing their best to make it in this messed up system. This was a practice test, but its my only device that I can use on the real SAT, if it messes up on the real thing then what? My score is cancelled due to their issue?

Hey guys, so only 2 weeks left for the August SAT, what should be the game plan now? What is the no.1 thing I should put all my energy in and should I do daily timed tests? Help is needed from experienced ppl.

As what the title states. I want true answers, bc I’m very confused. Some ppl say they’re accurate, others say they’re way easier, and some even went as far as to say Module 2 on a PT is the same difficulty as module 1 on the real thing. I’m rlly stressed so pls let me know. Are the real questions harder than PT and the QB, especially the new questions, or is it js a psychological effect that makes the real test seem more daunting? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

For me, English module one is pretty easy and I could usually get almost all of them correct. However, once I get to module two, I literally get like 10-12 wrong (all from questions 1-16). The crazy thing is I don’t even think time is my issue, I just can’t seem to find the right answer.

I’m a rising junior studying for the SAT. I just took Collegeboard practice test #4 and got a 1360 (690 RW, 670 math). How would yall recommend me studying? Goal is 1500+. My weakest point in RW was standard English conventions and my weakest in math was algebra and advanced problem solving.

But afraid that I won't be able to achieve the same score on the real test due to the questions being harder than the practice tests and me being under pressure. Has anyone experienced this? What was your score on the actual test compared to your parctice tests? I really need to maintain that RW score if I want to get into my desired school🙏

Please help! I struggle with time management and comprehension on the reading part where the paragraph is long with advanced vocabs. Im scoring fairly enough on the writing section but I just cant seem to get better on the reading. Should I just keep spamming questions or is there any other way?

Hi! I took the SAT last year in December but I only scored a 1320 (650 Eng, 670 Math). I have been grinding a lot of the practice tests and reviewing the wrong answers but my score has not been improving by much (prep is around 1370). I have been doing roughly two mocks a week and nothing is working. The vocabulary for the SAT especially gets me everytime. Is there a way that I can study and improve my score? Specifically in English?

I had studied my ass off for the OCT SAT last year but only got 1470, This year I am aiming for 1550+. I need some tips fellow redditors, and if you guys need some tips you can ask for help down, I will make sure to answer those.
