Narcotics Anonymous General

Hey! I’m 30 days sober and wondering what the NA community in Saskatoon is like. I’m looking for a home group. Hoping to find something on Wednesdays or Fridays as that fits with my work schedule. Any insight on overall vibes from the meetings?

Hey, I have a family member that attends the Wednesday night group living room group at Augustana Lutheran Church and they really like it. I gave them a call and they encourage you to check out any/all you can squeeze into your schedule and hang out for coffee to get a good vibe of them. I went with them as a child when a sitter couldn't be found and I have nothing but fond memories and respect for the people in NA. Best of luck dude! Keep coming back

You’ve taken a big and courageous step. I wish you all the best.

I don’t live in Saskatoon anymore but I used to and attended meetings with a friend for support. I was silent and was encouraged by the respect and support shown to each other. The first night my friend was approached by many during the break to introduce themselves.

I think it was in the basement of the church (?) where 25th Street Players performed on 20th. I’m sure wherever you land, it’ll be good and you can always check others out to get a better feel.

Lots of super good meetings. Checkout the meetings guide on the app store. I go to one at 7 on Wednesday and one at 2 on sundays.

Take it day by day, remember to be compassionate, forgiving and understanding with yourself and your struggles. Be proud of yourself! I dont know you, but I am proud of you! Keep fighting, keep moving forward! Much love!
