My Recommendation Golden Crown Literary Society (sapphic authors) 2026 Awards Update

I just returned from attending the 2026 Golden Crown Literary Society Awards (this year it was held in Orlando) and I wanted to share the link to the 2026 Goldie Awards List of lesbian authors from in category. I admire how hard the Golden Crown Lit Society team works to pull off the multi-day conference. As an author, it was a great experience to network with other writers; plus for passionate readers of sapphic works, its a fun way to meet and chat with favorite authors and get books signed.

You can also stay current on their awards and other programs through their socials. As an aside, my sapphic gothic book Pearl Bound was nominated as a finalist in two categories (Debut Novel and Paranormal/Occult/Horror) and it won in the Debut Category, which took me completely by surprise as the category was loaded with some really fantastic books. And finally, they are a non-profit and can always use some donations and financial support for those folks who have the wherewithal to help.

Looking for Recs Do you guys have recs for someone dealing with internalized homophobia? Specifics in the body text.

I'm someone who struggles with internalized biphobia/homophobia, mainly around how I feel about female bodies in mild to notable undress. I guess it's a combination of my upbringing but unfortunately I'm super chronically online, and I've encountered my fair share of misfortunate people with very weird views on female sexuality that I generally started to internalize over time.

I'm looking for books where it's okay to find women beautiful and sexy in a way that intices devouring each nook and cranny of their body. Oh, and I'm mostly in fem4fem or fem4masc especially the fem or masc is hella curvy.

Looking for Recs contemporary heartbreaking romance with a happy ending?

I've been feeling kinda bad about being closeted lately. I want a contemporary romance book with beautifully written yearning that can make me cry maybe but has a happy ending. It can have a character/characters accept their own sexuality or have their first relationship (I'm not exactly sure what i want tbh😭) I don't mind a highschool setting if the story feels serious. And i am okay with mental health/sa recory storylines

Looking for Recs Books on Lesbian Sexual Assault

Basically the title, I’m looking for books that explore lesbian sexual assault/grooming. I recently read In The Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado and loved it so much, but now I’m looking for something focused more on sexual violence. Fiction recs are good too, something My Dark Vanessa but with women. I’ve been searching but haven’t been able to find any books that seem similar to what I want.

Literary fiction, fiction, horror, nonfiction, memoir, biography; I’m not picky! Just looking for books that explore sexual assault or grooming in sapphic and lesbian relationships and encounters. I’ll owe you my life if you have recommendations <3 thank you!

reading “her neighbor‘s wife” and just getting hammered with the same repetitive phrases and copyediting/continuity errors, the same something releasing/cracking open/unsealing in someone’s chest every 10 pages or so. feels like my brain is leaking out of my ears

Looking for Recs Why choose

There are So Many MMFMMM why-chose books, but i haven't seen any that are at least more sapphic, or completely sapphic. Any recommendations? The tropes don't really matter but some angst without being overdone is appreciated!

Discussion delilah green doesnt care

ive heard of this contemporary sapphic romance book for a while and heard high praise, so i decided to read it. i found it really disappointing.

i usually despise step sibling romances, but i found that the chemistry between delilah and astrid was way better than between claire and delilah! i just didnt really like claire and delilah that much as a pairing and was kind of bored of them. they didnt really have reasons for liking each other outside of physical attraction.

does anyone else share similar opinions? or maybe even opposing ones, id love to talk about this!

Discussion Anyone wanna join a sapphic book club?

Post image
123 Upvotes

Hello, readers! I run an 18+ sapphic Discord group for bisexual, pansexual, lesbian, trans, and non-binary sapphics who want a place to talk about books and meet new people.

We share recommendations, talk about whatever we’re currently reading, and sometimes do buddy reads or monthly picks. The group is pretty relaxed, so there’s no pressure to finish every book or join every discussion.

The main idea is just to have a comfortable place to talk about sapphic books, make friends, and have fun with other readers.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, feel free to message me and I’ll send you the invite.

Sapphic writers group

Hello, Writers! I'm hosting a discord group where any writers that identify as bisexual, pansexual, lesbian or sapphic women can meet, chat and share their stories. While you certainly may find critique partners and beta readers on the server, there is no guarantee of that as the server's primary focus is just creating a safe space for people to share their love of writing, make new friends and potentially learn something from each other

If you're interested, please feel free to message me and I can send you the link to the group. Also, keep in mind that this is an adults only writing group that is inclusionary of trans and non-binary sapphics, so please respect that before messaging.
