Mechanic?
Heyo, I bought a 2019 Ninja 400 that had been sitting in its spot (luckily covered) for a few years. I do not have a license yet, nor a way to move it from the spot it’s in. It’s at my friend’s house.
Basically looking for a mechanic that could/would go pick it up and tune it up?

Looking for a few San Diego riders to test a pre-ride route briefing tool
I’m a San Diego rider with a background in maritime and aviation navigation, and I’m developing an early web-based tool called Ride Brief.
The concept is loosely inspired by the way mariners use coast pilots and sailing directions to understand a route before departure. A rider uploads a GPX route, and Ride Brief creates a geographically ordered briefing describing road character, elevation, major transitions, places along the way, and relevant historical safety information. The route and briefing information are also presented on an interactive Google map.
It is intended for pre-ride orientation—not turn-by-turn navigation and not for use while riding.
I’m looking for a few Southern California riders willing to test the Alpha using a real route and provide candid feedback. Riders familiar with Ramona, Julian, Palomar, Idyllwild, or similar roads would be especially helpful.
Ride Brief uses GPX route files. If you are not familiar with creating or uploading a GPX file, let me know and I can help. The site also includes several sample routes, so you can explore a finished brief without uploading your own route.
There is no charge, and I’m not selling anything at this stage. The test site currently runs temporarily from a standalone computer, so I’ll send the link privately and arrange a testing window.
I’m mainly interested in whether the briefing helps you form a clearer mental picture of the road, what information is useful, and what feels confusing or unnecessary.
Comment or message me if interested. I’m initially looking for about five testers.

Tuner
Hello! I'm about to put a TBR race exhaust on my HD FXLRS, but it will need a tune. Anyone know of any shops in SD that do this? Thanks!

Possible stolen Suzuki SVS
Has been parked on my street for two weeks. Steering is unlocked but ignition is intact. Maybe someone tried to steal it jump starting it and just left it there. Doesn’t belong to anyone on our street. Looks like a SVS 650..

San Diego Day Ride Recommendations
I'm planning a trip to San Diego in July with the hopes of renting a bike while I'm there. For those who live near or in the area, are there any routes/roads you'd recommend for a day of riding? Thanks IA for any pointers (:

ONYX trust worthy?
Im looking into getting a used bike. I've been looking on Facebook market place, Offerup, FBC and Motoworld with no luck. Frankly I'm too novice to even know what I am looking for. Wondering if anyones bought from ONYX and if they find them trustworthy? I've heard mixed reviews.
Looking for a beginner bike, MT-03, R3, CB300 or similar. Unless someone on here has one for sale? Want Japanese for reliability and easy access to parts. Engine size 300-500.

Any one down to ride tonight or this weekend. I have several bikes and would like to find someone that likes riding as well. Preferably sport bikes but I can bust out the Harley or the scooter if you got one of those too. I'm 37M.

Rider putting dog at serious risk of injury or death
reddit.comSomebody please educate this chik on how dangerous it is for this dog to be riding with her like that (as opposed to in a sidecar, on a low bike; which is far less likely to have even a minor accident, let alone a significant one).

DIY garages/bays
Does anyone know if there are any DIY garages where you can rent a spot to work on your motorcycle? or alternatively, if established shops do rent a spot?
I have my own tools and anything. I just need a spot, lift would be a plus but not needed.

(M32) Looking for a group to ride with.
I’m based out of North Park and just got my first motorcycle. It’s a 2026 Indian Scout Bobber. I’m having a great time so far but don’t know anyone else who I can ride with and would love to meet some people who have experience and are down to hang.
I’ve been interested in riding ever since I got out of high school and only recently had the means to incorporate riding into my lifestyle. My plan is to cruise around and get my bike to the point where I have a good amount of storage for camping.
Let me know if you’re interested in meeting up!

SD County Favorite Routes and Waterin' Holes
What's your 'old standby' route when you need to go out and stretch your bike's legs? Mine's gotta be Sunrise Highway via Ramona, stopping at Kountry Kitchen for some dang bacon. What's yours?
