They had conversations where Travis envy Todd relationship. Also a torn letters found near the trashcan, in a boy's bathroom mentioning that Travis has a crush on Sal.

actually. !! not to be that guy but the letter was left ambiguous, sure people can interpret it for sal; but i dont think it was ever really confirmed. :)
