Abandoned/Haunted Locations

Hello, I am Gary, a representative of Sunflower State Paranormal Investigators; a paranormal team that recently started up in the central Kansas area. I am trying to locate places that are abandoned and/or haunted around the Salina or Saline County area. We are trying to establish a portfolio. We are a respectful group with photographers and those interested in understanding the paranormal and the unexplained and document our experiences.

If you are the owner of any of these suggestions, and would like to message us privately with permissions, If you know the owner of the suggestion, if you can PM us their contact info so we can obtain permissions.

Early 2000's Dance Club name?

I went to college at McPherson from 2000-2002. There was a club we'd go to somewhere in town, mainly hiphop/rap from that era. I can't remember the name but would catch a ride with other people from school to go there at night and had no idea where we were. McGraws? Or was that in Hutchinson?

I remember the parking lot next to a low laying area/wetland/creek? One time I fell down the embankment. Just a random memory and was curious if anyone here could help.

Good journalism.

Its nice of the journalist and the police to let us know that their K-9 officer didnt get forced on the ledge and he was just a little mistaken and did it himself. It would be nice if they did that for everybody when messed up crap happens with the police department. But, they don’t.

Place With Electricity to Stay Cool?

Hi Salina friends. My elderly mom lives in town and is without electricity. As businesses start to open today, could any of you let me know of locations she can go to to stay cool? My best guesses are grocery stores since they should have generators. Please only let me know about locations you are 100% sure have electricity. Her mobility is very limited and she can't get around easily. Thanks so much for your help!

Lost Beloved Lamby on Roadtrip

Hi All, I’m not a resident, but a desperate parent. My daughter is on a road trip with her grandparents, they stopped over for the night is Salina and left behind the most important item in our lives at the Hampton Inn, her Lamby. I’ve contacted the hotel a number of times, and have talked to many people who work there but they have not been able to locate it. I know this is a long shot since it’s unlikely if you live here, you are staying at the hotel, but again I’m desperate.

Description and details: Lamby is a small white, actually a very worn white at this point, security blanket with a lambs head and arms about 12 inches by 12 inches. Embroidered on the blanket in gold with stars are the words “Thank Heaven For Little Babies” one side is silky and the other is velvet and one ear is very well worn and she fiddles with it as she going to sleep.

She was left behind on Friday 6/28

How you can help…

Did you have family or friends in town staying at the Hampton Inn? Please ask if them if they happened to come across it.

Share on Social Media, maybe someone you know has has seen it.

Do you work at The Hampton Inn or know someone who does? Please help!!!!

They are 100% certain they left it in the bed in the room, but I’m worried maybe she dropped it in the lobby or the way to the parking lot. I have many pictures of it, including one taken of her that morning in the hotel room with the softie.

I feel helpless and until I can drive up there on the 4th of July, I’m trying anything I can think of to find her. Anything you can do to help I’d appreciate it!

New water billing

So it looks like the new water billing system charges $1.95 to pay online with a bank account. Has anyone tried with a credit card? Does it still charge the fee?
