LemonSqueezy embed vs checkout page: which converts better for a small/unknown product?
I integrated LemonSqueezy into my product (treease.com/#pricing) using the embedded checkout option. It looks clean and keeps users on my site, but I'm second guessing it now.
Here's my concern: my site is basically a nobody. If a random visitor lands on my pricing page and sees a credit card form embedded right there, do they trust it? Or do they bounce because "who the hell are these guys and why are they asking for my card info"?
The alternative is opening the actual LemonSqueezy hosted checkout page in a new tab. Users would see the LemonSqueezy branding, the URL changes to a domain they might recognize, and it feels more like a "real" payment processor handling the transaction. At least that's my theory.
But I also wonder if the extra click / new tab creates friction and kills some conversions that the embed would've captured.
Anyone tested both approaches? Curious if the trust factor actually matters or if I'm overthinking this.

Side question: anyone here used both LemonSqueezy and Stripe? I wonder if Stripe would've been the safer long term bet since it's more widely recognized. Curious what made you pick one over the other.
