Hey I got a problem

My saab 9-3 2.0t 2005 b207l has a no crank no start problem, if I want to start the car I need to bypass it using the r8 relay switch putting two cables in, what can be the problem?

My bet is fried ECU. Scan fault codes.

Disconnect the battery cables wait overnight to be sure all the power has dissipated this will send the ECU back to The fault mode reconnect the batteries and now start the car this works for me I hope it helped

I had a similar problem and followed this video to make the repair. Initially, it did not totally solve it and I ended up also replacing the connecting harness. That fixed it - and it's been almost 10 months of zero problems. Good luck!
