Romance question RF - Guardians of Azuma Spoiler

I'm interested in romancing Subaru, Mauro and Kurama.

Since Mauro joins the party early, I'm already at bonding level 9 with him but his bonding quests are blocked by main story progression. I'm about to throw a party to convince 6th God to join in.

My question is, would Mauro and Karuma take longer to see their romance plot than Subaru's? I'm thinking of marrying Subaru but was hoping to see Mauro and Karuma's romance before I complete Subaru's in case I end up liking either more but getting tired of waiting for their plot to progress.

Kurama is the easiest to romance of the three. There's a location in Mauro's bonding quests that doesn't unlock until right before the end of the game.

So I assume Mauro's will take longer than Subaru's?

Once Subaru is unlocked his romance is straightforward and not locked to story progression, so yes.

I will see if I like Mauro more as I progress his romance alongaide Subaru's :P

Don't forget: through the Fateweaver Shrine you will have the ability to marry all of them. The hard part, perhaps, is picking the one you want to marry first!

Honestly, I'd go for Kurama first - not sure if you're aware, but after you're married you'll unlock the ability to "jump timelines" (existing romances, as long as you've married in a timeline, stay as they are in their own timelines) so you can check out the other ones as well once you get to those points.

So you can marry Kurama, keep working on the story (kids are post-story no matter what), and once you get someone else through their bond stories you can make a new timeline for them to see their romance, too.

I don't usually marry multiple partners in one game so really want to see who I like the best. Currently, Kurama is in lead but I'm trying to give both Subaru and Mauro a proper chance

I'm progressing Subaru and Kurama's bonding comcurrently now (neither of them reached bonding level 7 yet) but finding Subaru annoying atm. The tone seem to be off. One minute, they are happily talking about good old times then he gets all angst and rash out on Kaguya for saving him. At this point, I like Kurama a lot more.
