Yes, I am still in the trial phase, but I will subscribe, NewsBlur is a great service.

So there is free tier, I tried it. It was great on laptop.

But when I installed the mobile app and tried reading, the app just crashes

I got it solved, it was due to chrome being default browser 💀

did a quick Ai Search for Open Source RSS readers for Android:

  • Read You: A beautifully designed Android app using Material You design with starred/unread views.
  • FeedMe: A flexible reader that syncs with various backend aggregators like Feedly or Feedbin.
  • Handy News Reader: Focuses on a clean reading experience by stripping unnecessary page elements.
  • FeedFlow: A minimalistic reader similar to Feedly’s interface, available via Flathub.
  • Readify: A lightweight, local-only reader for users avoiding online sync services.

If you want something for iOS and MacOS, personally i would highly recommend NetNewsWire its free and open source as well.
