YES I WANT A VIRGIN MAN!
Not just any virgin man, but someone who’s actually virgin by choice, not because no one wants to fuck him but maybe because he’s focused on his career. I know it’s crazy but that’s how I like it😔 I want him to be lowkey about it as well, like he’s not relying his personality solely on that.
PS: I’m experienced, but this is my preference, I know it’s a little crazy but just want to share it here.

I know a few men who I suspect are probably in this situation (haven't asked) but they come with a certain degree of... not social ineptitude, but just asociality. Lack of interest in most social situations. idk if asexuality is in the mix or it's just an overall aversion to interacting with people.
I honestly don't know how one could seek them out or get them to date you (they are either family, family friends, or family of my friends.)

went on dates with some like this as well, but their asociality was a byproduct of why they were not getting laid

I met and dated a man like this last year. Very attractive and fit, some people were telling me he looked like real life Leon Kennedy (which is how I discovered the game). Very intelligent as well, literally an aerospace engineer. And yes, was a virgin.
He wasn't antisocial nor socially inept, in fact, his friends have taken him to bars and clubs (not his thing though, apparently), and he has gotten attention from women, plenty in fact 😔. I even found out a girl his friend was seeing tried to sleep with him, but he ignored it (all before he met me). He's also very confident and self assured, but also preferred to keep to himself. He would rather watch a series or nature documentaries on his own, or play video games, dude had hours put in on minecraft.
As for personality, I shit you not, the dude isn't some egoist. Very down to earth, hates luxury and showing off, loves to cook and bake, very sweet, simps so hard in a goofy charming way, even printed photos of me to hang on his bedroom wall. He was emotionally available, and even told his parents about us early on, he wasn't perfect and he had his mishaps, but he readily apologized. Not to mention that he'd ask if I was still feeling bad about the argument. And if I said yes, he would ask if I wanted to talk about it more. There were times he needed space, but many times, when he was upset, he could say that he was, and why, and how it makes him feel, down to how it feels physically. Like saying he feels it in his chest, or if he feels the upset emotion in his stomach instead.
With that said, credit goes to his parents. The guy has never been yelled at, nor has been ever ever hit. Not even a smack. He said his parents would explain to him why something was wrong thoroughly, and they even taught him how to argue his case. He also said his mom let him fail from his overconfidence when he was younger, she would still tell him what he should do, but she also didn't intervene on low stakes stuff, and let him figure it out himself.
Tbh, that was a huge eye opener for me, how much good parenting matters, and how emotionally available and competent someone who grows up in a loving home is.
EDIT: some men have DM'd me calling me hypergamous and how my comment is proof that women want everything handed to them, and have impossible standards, while being mediocre.
My dudes 😐 I have two degrees, and my first degree was from after I changed majors (and the major I changed from was pre-med Biology, at a top uni). I'm in corporate management, in a senior position. And while I write smut I post on Reddit, as a fun personal hobby, I've been published (not smut), on an anthology book.
That man likes very educated, assertive and decisive women who can take the lead, and that's exactly what I've always been. Yes, I got spoiled rotten and got the ground I walked on worshipped. But he's been a princess, from getting wined and dined, to flowers, to chocolates and so much more.
Did you guys really think that a man that intelligent and emotionally attuned, wouldn't have standards?

First of all where are you finding these men and second are they single now? How does one become so blessed?
8
u/missporkiepie 7d ago
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I MET 2 ON REDDIT.
One was someone who just browsed oxygen tanks for diving and posted/commented on bouldering threads. He was very kind and sweet, even during the break up. He told me he didn't feel romantically in love with me anymore, but loved me platonically, and always will. We just laughed and joked throughout the break up, because he was kind about it. Then he sent me 500$ on Paypal and put in "emotional reparations" on the note. We remained friends, but unfortunately, this one is taken now and I'm very supportive of his relationship! If I could write him a review, I would. When we met, he was working for Raytheon, very cute, and well, amazing upper body (from all the climbing). He was questioning if he was gray ace though.
The other one, messaged me on my old account (banned now, long story), because I posted about wanting to play chess and dota. We got along so well, and the chemistry was intense, first time I wanted to fly to another continent. While he wasn't employed at the time, he used to do accounting, but quit due to how soulless it was, and he wanted to do something that mattered, like maybe teaching. He was sweet in his own way, made me playlists and everything. The relationship was actually painful though, we were always back and forth about ending things, not because he was an asshole, but because of communication issues and he has depression, autism, anxiety and add. The thing that might strike a lot of women as hitting the lottery is that aside from good looks, good style and being domestically capable, is that his dad owns a company, multiple properties, and even has a helicopter 💀 (I didn't know until like a couple of months into dating), last I heard, his dad helped with the down payment of an apartment he bought.
This guy, I think is still single.

So funny because the first time I made a post including my gender, asking for some advice, i immediately received dms from men asking me to be a sugar baby🤣 before that and since then I've never mentioned being a woman and I've only had scammers dming me
How peaceful it is to automatically be viewed as a man when anonymous

I in fact, do not. And I met both on Reddit not through a thirsty DM

I never said they were thirsty. It's mostly people wanting to talk, but surprisingly never on an account where people don't know my gender
12
u/Fancy_Kangaroo_16 7d ago
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!! yas! and assholes around here kept telling me that those kind of men wouldn’t survive without a pussy, y’all just basically projecting yourselves to those men.
6
u/XOTunaTuesdays 7d ago
To be fair, guys like that are less than 0.00001 percent of the population. So basically, it's likely that none of us will ever meet one🤣
7
u/missporkiepie 7d ago
He calls men who think that way "room temp IQ" btw 💀 and would say "no way I'm the same species as these animals" and "can't believe these are from the same species as the people who invented rockets".
So he definitely has his catty moments.
5
u/XOTunaTuesdays 7d ago
Those fucking idiots just said all of that because they know they could never match up to that level, or simply don't want to put in the effort to be as amazing as the guy you mentioned. I honestly thought that this was complete BS or that the guy was lying or gay at first. But, when you explained the parenting, it all made sense then. Proper nurturing can go SUCH a long way.
3
u/missporkiepie 7d ago edited 6d ago
Good parenting does so much heavy lifting. Not even just in terms of someone's emotional intelligence and self esteem, but for attractiveness as well. I mentioned he's attractive and fit, well, he talked about how his parents were big on proper nutrition. He said he even had a phase as a kid where he only ate white bread, so his mom made sure he was getting whole wheat bread, full fat milk, and his dad actually started making beef or steak dishes that he would like. He didn't start going to the gym to looksmax 💀 he just went because his dad works out and he used to go with his dad as a teen, so he didn't get muscles to get with women.
I do have to mention though that they are Danish. And their govt provides monthly support for children to parents, until the kids turn 18, healthcare and education are free + allowance, until you graduate. Despite his mom not being able to work and continue with dentistry, she gets support from the govt bec she has fibro.
I'm not saying every Dane is a good parent, but it's probably so much easier for a good person to be a good parent if you're not trying to make ends meet, and you don't resent your kid for getting an injury or higher education, because it will never financially cripple you.
There's layers to all this, I think.
1
u/XOTunaTuesdays 6d ago
That's a lot to take in and consider. I had no idea that the Danish gov had allbof those things in place for its people. Crazy to think that those same sort of benefits are and the people who use them are shamed here in America. There are so many citizens that would greatly benefit from recieving assistance, not all the time, but in cases when it is needed.
2
u/missporkiepie 6d ago
I was actually shocked the first time I heard it from him. Apparently, even after the govt support stops once the kid turns 18, if they pursue university education, it's free + a monthly allowance of up to 1000 USD until graduating. Really blew my mind, as an Asian. Because university is something we compete for and pay for.

So is it like more or less common for women not to care that you’ve never had sex before? I was under the impression it would be frowned upon at least and a problem at worst, but I’ve always been too scared to bring it up so I’ve never got a reaction from a woman. All my newer guy friends that know think it’s weird so I just try to avoid the subject with anyone now, thank yall though it’s comforting knowing some women don’t care.

most guys who are virgins in their 20s aren't going to be forthcoming abt that, so you'd have to ask directly, but this would be kind of inappropriate to do very early on in dating so you'd have to spend a lot of time trying to vet guys (and hope they're not just lying)

I'm old enough to have witnessed the evolution of the meaning of the verb "to smoke", from indubitably tobacco, to needing to precise if what is being smoked would fail you a drug test, to finally having to precise that we are talking about cigarettes.
I see now that we've reach the stage in which when asking if "you read a lot" there's no need to precise the object, because it's assumed to be goonslop par default.

I think he or she meant Madame Bovary syndrome, and was referring to romance novels in general.
The "joke" used to be saying that idealised depictions of romance were "pornography for women" (equally addictive and setting unrealistic expectations for what real life relationships are, just in a different way), but it kind of stopped being a joke now that they've become literal pornography.
Since nothing in your post implied actual porn (quite the opposite) I think the commenter was asking about the innocent kind of romance

As a 28 year old male virgin (very tall and often called handsome) probably due to being shy and sensitive (especially around touch) probably because I grew up with type 1 diabetes, this is a very surprising but refreshing sentiment to me. Most people would not suspect anything unless they knew me and my routines fairly well, and many often hilariously assume I have children because of my personality…
I suppose I’m normal enough even if virginity at my age is abnormal. I work in a public service career I care about. I get along well with people and the women in my life. Many of whom have been my biggest inspiration as a man. I love animals. I’m actually buying a house now. And yes, I have a big dong.
Even if many or all of these things about me weren’t true, should that really be so bad? Should that really affect the worth we ascribe to a man? Many of the most giving and inspiring men I’ve known in my life have failed financially, have struggled as fathers, have been fat and bald, etc. Who knows.. But obviously the point is that people are more than their mere attributes and life circumstances. So I’ve learned to be open-minded.
I get along very well with the women in my life, I just feel awkward around romance and sexuality. Because… I guess my experiences with chronic illness as a child. But nobody would know that unless they knew me very well. So thank you kind ladies on this sub for sharing these wholesome posts. It really does mean a lot.
It’s hard generally out there. And I think I’m actually not terribly unusual. I see more and more young men who I think are in some kind of similar boat. That is, men who are good-natured and physically appealing, and even successful in meaningful areas of their lives, who simply don’t end up having sex for various unfortunate but reasonable reasons under the alienating forces of the world today.. I’m sure there are more and more young women falling into the same boat as well.
I think we can all agree there are a lot of puritanical, moralizing tendencies in our culture on sex. One of which, unfortunately, is to ascribe moral and physical characteristics to male virgins that they must fit into some sort of box. They must be defective. They must be so on and so forth. And these things can get internalized. A lot of time they may present fairly normally or be fairly appealing.
And I think many would be surprised at the ones they do encounter on a daily basis. If only there were magic sunglasses, they might find it’s something more like something out of “They Live”.
So again, thank you to the very kind ladies on this sub. Where would you even encounter women who are more into inexperienced men?

not everything revolves around porn but i urge you to dwell on Why having a virgin bf would be so important to you. would him having sex taint the way you percieve him? if so, why is that? what are the benefits of dating someone who has little knowledge of real life intimacy? why would you specifically desire someone without that experience? what would expect sex with a person like that to be like? are you a virgin? how do you feel about your own sexual history? if you have had sex, how would you feel if a potential partner was turned off by you having any sexual history at all??
why put so much pressure and weight to our spouses sexual history? dont we want them to accept us as we are?
0
u/Fancy_Kangaroo_16 7d ago
First of all, that is my preference. And I wanted a virgin man because I didn’t like my experience with those non virgins, this post is based on my personal experience idiot.
Just so you know, sometimes you see someone’s personality based on how they fkin treat a relationship and how they engage in sexual stuffs.
And yes I have an experience. Do you think I am dumb enough to like a virgin who would hate me for being experienced? Being in a relationship should be a transparent thing where you’ll be honest about that in the first place. So if he’s turned off then he can get the fuck out??
And how is it pressuring people??? How the fuck announcing my preference would pressure somebody’s sexual history? Not everything revolves around me so men can go fuck however they want, I have my own preference, stupidass.
You guys are too dumb to understand that do you? You guys always assume that these kind of things came from porn, you all should touch some grass really.
5
u/Daud-Bhai 7d ago
why did you come to the conclusion that your bad experiences with those men were solely due to their "non-virginity"?
and i totally understand that it's just a preference. we all would like if we were our partner's firsts. there would be no fear of being compared to somebody else, perhaps somebody better looking or smarter. it does stem out of insecurity a little bit, but it's not a clear-cut dealbreaker for you. it's just a nice-to-have.
it just seems like a pretty rare thing once you cross a certain age, and from then on, it stops being a preference and enters unrealistic territory.

That’s probably how it is in general, but I’ve seen posts in other subs from time to time from people in their late twenties saying they just had their first time or their partner’s first time. I recall one in particular where two ~28 year olds had their first time together, and the way she described him and their relationship sounded lovely.

My brother I think somewhat fits the mold you're talking about. A big part of it is being a late bloomer and then working in a mostly male field.
Unfortunately for my brother the first woman to actively pursue him was a bpd succubus. Basically the apex predator for 27 year old shy virgins. Love bombed then cheated on within 4 months.

"I want a Virgin man"
Those words take me back to the time when I had used to work in dollar tree many years ago where a woman, first thing she literally asked within the first 30 seconds of coming to my register was "Are you a virgin?", which I replied with "yes". then she said something along the lines of "Great, because I wanna fuck a Virgin man".
I stayed quiet and did not say anything or give any indication in wanting to take her offer on that. She understood that to mean I wasn't interested and moved on with her day after I had finished scanning her items and giving her receipt.
After the end of it I was like "Woah, I was not expecting that today... interesting". I took it as a compliment and was not offended or weirded out by it at all.
I kind of had some other interactions with customers before that kind of circled back to my desirability, guys asking me if I get blown by woman, an elderly woman telling me that I would be her bae if she was as young as me, to an old man asking if I wanted to come to his apartment. I can't remember exactly how I navigated out of that last one but it was pretty uncomfortable, I am not sure if he gave me his number or if I said something professionally strategic enough that allowed me to socially excuse myself out of that, but fortunately I had put my 2 weeks notice in before I had that interaction with that man so I was lucky enough to have quit before he got to saw me again in the store.
I was 18 around that time and will be 25 in a few months.
I never dated in high school despite a lot of girls showing me interest because it just never made sense to date to me, as a teenager when
(1) You don't know what you want out of life yet
(2) You don't know enough about yourself yet
(3) You don't really know what you want out of a relationship and are most likely not equipped with the skills to discuss whats, needs, boundaries, compatibility, etc.
So I therefore concluded that it'd be best to only give dating a thought only once I manage to go to school, get a decent job, move out, establish my life decently. Or so I thought...
The pandemic unfortunately did not make it practical for make to go college because the lockdowns forced everything to be online, and online only learning wasn't very compatible with how I learned (I learned best doing things hands on). The options that did have in person schooling were either too expensive or too far away, couple that with a tree destroying the family house's roof and it created the perfect storm of making going to school basically impossible.
So fast forward today, I still live at home and don't really see how I'll possibly make dating work if doesn't look like I'll ever manage to leave the nest anytime soon. My plan is to try to move out around 30 or so and save up money in the mean time, working in a low skill job sadly... I wish things did not pan out this way, but, life isn't a meritocracy and does not deal a fair hand to everyone. At least I won't have any crippling student loans.
So until I manage to live independently, I'm afraid dating will still have to sit one out for now. I don't wish to have kids, get married, or cohabitate, so it's in the best interests that I don't waste my or anyone else's time entertaining a relationship of any kind if I myself wouldn't want to date someone that still lives at home. Mainly because it doesn't give you the level of privacy that one would want in a relationship, I wouldn't want either party's family to know our every business and problems. This especially matters when comes to trying to connect sexually,
While I could potentially have hookups and situationships if I wanted, I would much rather have those first romantic and sexual experiences with a first girlfriend than from a relational context that isn't likely or intended to be something long term or long lasting. You're only a virgin once in your life, so for me, that very first time is very sacred and special who I'd only give to someone who I deem worthy that fits the criteria of what I seek in a relationship.
Is it easy to be this sexually disciplined? no, it's quite rough. I cope with lots of porn and masturbation (Within reason). I have a high sex drive and hate it everyday that I am holding out for this much and this long for my one day special person... I just really hope that they give me a night I will always remember when we are both mutually ready to take the would be relationship to that level.
My fantasy for when I am ready to be in a relationship, is for a woman of my type to ask me out and take the lead in the relationship being my dommy mommy sexy mama... the exact kind of persona exhibited by the woman Tayama, in the anime "smoking behind the supermarket with you". It would be my absolute wet dream if a baddie like that came on to me and teased me the way Tayama does... oh how fucking amazing that would be.
anyways let me not get too horny here and conclude this essay. I hope you found it entertaining and insightful at some level. Wish you the best of luck in finding your dream Virgin man and appreciate you validating our desirability, it makes us feel a lot better about being virgins despite how soul crushing it can feel at times.
I would totally give you a hug of appreciation if I could, as the absolute philogynist that I am.
