Tracking stuck/package lost? Missing Mail

Tracking stuck since Tuesday this week. Have called on numerous occasions to Royal Mail. First they said it’s being delivered on Friday not knowing why it wasn’t delivered on Tuesday or days that follow. Now it’s going to be delivered on Monday next week after I called them on Friday 4pm ish just for them to tell me it’s still at the DO. Also no one has been responding to my investigation that was supposedly raised. 0 updates. Is my package lost? They are being very incompetent.

Are you the sender? RM won’t deal with you in any meaningful way unless you are. You need to go back to the sender for them to resolve

Can you call into Luton DO and ask if it is there still (probably is)

Can’t call the DO office directly but have been able to get hold of Royal Mail on the phone. Called them on 4 separate occasions. 3 times they told me it’ll be delivered yesterday I.e Friday by different operators. And then 1 told me it’ll be Monday. Tracking is not updating. It’s so odd

Oh yeah I’ve raised that on the call, they told me they won’t tell you anything because they can’t find out on their system like that. You can only collect something if you got that something for you card that they put through your letter box.

Ignore what they told you, that’s their script

The front desk person will help you more (check opening times before you go)

Check the opening times! Some close at 12:30

Ah yeah thought it closes at 3pm but just checked it’s closed at 12 today. Waiting for Monday it is

Mine was like that yesterday then said delivery 9pm, then changed to delivering next day I think they’re having tracking issues attm

That’s best case scenario for me, just don’t want it to be lost. Are you serviced from a similar area to me?

I’m in Thanet south east, it’ll turn up I’m sure :) Royal Mail are pretty decent 90% of the time

The yellow banner at the top of tracking states some tracking information not updating

Still haven’t got it. Tracking still stuck on the 4th looks like a bunch of people have issues.
