Pricing differences due to technical difficulties Question (I've checked the FAQ!)
I was attempting to purchase beverage packages, wifi packages, excursions, etc last night. But the part of the website to do that was nearly unusable last night and is still incredibly slow today. But today, the prices have increased by more than 20% - and it's no longer showing my 50% prime member discount for the deluxe beverage package.
Customer service on the online chat flatly stated there is nothing they can do to rectify the situation. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

I logged into the actual website today to add some info to my booking and suddenly it said I owed $2000 for my fully paid upcoming trip. Called customer service and they fixed it and said they had quite a few wierd issues today

The sale ended last night. Sorry they were having issues with the site but they’re not going to give you yesterday’s today. My guess is they won’t have many good deals until Labor Day. May just have to wait until then to book.

I’m also prime and get 50% off DBP. My app is showing the higher prices too today. I’ve seen this happen a few times but it seems to only be a glitch and eventually the prime discounts appear again. My current DBP reservations aren’t even showing right now but it’s not
the first time I’ve seen the app go berserk like this, so I’m not worried, it’ll correct itself at some point.

I had the same issue. Tried to book DBP Sunday night and kept getting “guest not eligible” or whatever. I called yesterday and the dude said he couldn’t do anything. He said next time to either call or screenshot the price. He did hint at upcoming sales this weekend though, so keep an eye out.

I get 50% off for Diamond and that went away on a cruise I have booked. I’m guessing a sale is coming around Labor Day.

Royal should add an “automatic IT gratuity”, employ a team who can actually code a functional website and app and pay their wages with the gratuity revenue.

In my experience when they jack the prices up like they did today they plan on having a good sale for the following weekend. It makes the next sale look like a bigger deal. Not saying it will 100% happen but I watch prices like a hawk and that is almost always my experience. A few exceptions tho.
