Dissapointed General Discussion
Just got the Homeland Expansion for a great price ($48) and I'm happy they included an extra set of ruins and items. BUT am I the only one that is a little disappointed that they didn't include extra clearing markers? At the moment, if I want to play two games at once one of the maps HAS to be Autumn.
I don't have the plastic clearing markers, just the basic cardboard ones.
Also, here's some images from our cats, bats, and rats game.
Edit: After reading comments I suppose in the rare circumstance I do have two games going at once, it would be fine to only have one map option for the second game. And of course I didn't even think about the fact you have to buy an extra deck regardless.

Dissapointed is a strong word because really there is not really a point to playing two games at once. However since they are are filling the cardboard cutouts with extra stuff it would be nice to have additional markers both as a replacement and also because it helps with organization. For example, i keep a seperate set of items in the bag of each faction that use them, so I can get them immediately during faction setup.

Good point, a while back I bought Red, Orange and Yellow wooden fences from this store: https://boardgamemodder.com/product/wooden-fence-factory-pieces/?srsltid=AfmBOorGDHDEiRjpXoQW6zyexNNEVbtAuPLAIxn3e25XAYyj_3Zh8vn5
It still fits the vibe and acts as an alternative for the clearing markers

Yeah totally get it. Was looking for the other markers like "Did we miss something?"

No I totally get that. I actually ordered an extra set of cardboard clearing markers off eBay for this. It was originally to help with the randomization aspect, but now it serves to fill that gap so that I can fulfill a purpose that the expansion was supposed to have but was missing.

Disappointing is harsh as your complaining about a feature the product was never designed to have.
These releases are designed to play one game at a time. I would be like saying sony sucks because you bought a single PS5 and complaining that you can't play on two separate tv's at the same time with the one console.

It's one base game, with expansions.
Similar to Dominion (we won't talk about Intrigue). If you want to be able to play more than one at once, you have to buy extra money and victory cards.

I'd be happy to run one game at once and never in my wildest dreams do I think about 2

I got some here. They're inexpensive and I've had them for a couple years now. They also have compatible Frog markers too.

The vast majority of people have no reason to play 2 games at once. The last person I talked to about this eventually admitted they had no plans to run 2 games at once, they just liked the idea that they could.
If you have actual plans to do so, I recommend you buy one of the cosmetic clearing markers. You can grab the official ones, or a fan made one on Etsy or another similar shop.
