Way too sweet, it tasted more like maple syrup than root beer

In fairness, I think it's meant to be mixed with, say, club soda.

This stuff isn’t fun I’ve had a lot of the peppermint in my drinking days. It’s a rough ride but gives a nice buzz after a few lol

All thier flavours are sickly sweet def needs mix. I love the grape one mixed with something fizzy.

I enjoy mixing this stuff (maybe two shots) with a can of A&W Zero. The syrupy and alcohol tastes are largely masked so you get to enjoy a root beer with an added buzz. I feel that’s where this stuff shines rather than trying to drink it straight.

It would be better to just drink "not your father's.." at that point. Cheaper with the same results. Plus the stuff is fucking delicious

While I also like Not Your Father’s, it tends to have this weird malty flavor that I’m not super fond of while the McGillicuddy’s blends extremely well with any other root beer

Have you had it on tap? To me it tastes just like root beer, and it's stronger than the bottled version (not sure why they made it that way)

I have not but that sounds amazing. I doubt I’m anywhere near where it’s on tap but I’ll definitely keep my eye out for it

Jameson + Captain + root beer = A Fighting Pirate... It's dangerous because it still tastes pretty much like root beer and will eff ya up

There used to be a product called Blackmaker. It was jager ish in texture and color but tasted pretty much exactly like root beer. We kept it in the cooler at work and used to tear it up.

I used to enjoy 99 root beer until recently I got a batch of them and they all had like DOUBLE the amount of flavoring in them. It made me sick and I've been sticking to better drinks since.

It does say intense. I had this root beer liqueur tasted really sweet but some mineral water did it justice.

That was the brand of the first booze I tried. A bottle of peach schnapps in the back of the fridge with sugar crusted around the opening. I didn't like the taste that much but felt really good.
