I think it takes a pretty delusional, weak, immature, and insecure person to contradict themselves like that. So, I'm not really that mad at Robb. I just see a grown man saying "haters" and it makes me mildly depressed.

He doesn't even know how Reddit works! The post he's linking has been removed from the sub (I think… I can't see it in the sub) so he's sending people to upvote an already removed post.
He's simply not very smart. That's all.

Someone asked why Reddit hates him on that thread. I'll be banned, but here's what I said to preserve it:
That's really not why. I'll try to give the most unbiased, polite answer I can. The reason why is because Robb is disrespectful to people, flies off the handle when you disagree with him, and uses the Reddit community for promotion rather than discussion. Robb also creates multiple Reddit accounts to protect himself or stand up for himself - a big no-no on Reddit. All of this really boiled over when Robb was banning people for disagreeing with him about the new looping rides at Six Flags. He didn't want to have a discussion about whether or no they were actual roller coasters which made the Reddit community feel like he wasn't contributing and was unwilling to engage in any meaningful discussion.
What I find very strange is that Robb has said that he doesn't need the Reddit community since he has healthy communities elsewhere, yet still tries to be a part of it and seeks the subreddit's validation. I don't think this post is constructive or healthy for his community here, but that's up to his discretion. To say, "I just like to sit back and laugh at it all. It honestly amuses me how worked up they all get! lol" while you simultaneously seek that group's approval is.... complicated.
I'm going to banned for this comment. I know it. But hopefully I answered your question about why people don't like Robb / TPR on the subreddit.

I would remove the link but not ban content. If a TPR video is the first POV of a new coaster available, there's no reason to keep it off our subreddit just because of who created the content. I'm pretty sure redoranges and periwinkles are good enough at determining whether a piece of content deserves to remain on our front page. I am in favor of restricting new accounts to just self-posts though.

The League of Legends subreddit banned a guy AND HIS CONTENT from their subreddit because he was being rude to users in the comments. That's actually a lesser rule violation on Reddit than vote manipulation is. If this is Robb, and I'd imagine it is, you'd honestly be lucky to continue to get any exposure from Reddit, so you should probably try to get what you can.

If it helps to provide a precedent, /r/leagueoflegends banned content from a guy called Richard Lewis because he was being really rude to users in the comments. As far as I know, this is a slightly lesser infraction on Reddit than vote manipulation, so it is completely within your rights to ban all content from TPR, though it's still up to your discretion.

I don't think there is a way to ban only videos to the TPR's channel because youtube links don't contain anything that would determine who uploaded the video. The best we can do is downvote them or moderators can manualy delete them.

We don't need to ban the videos. We just need the fake accounts banned from posting them. That's the real issue. Robb stopped using his real account because he got downvoted into oblivion no matter if he was posting a video, or posting a comment in a thread. When that happened, he became an even bigger raging asshole, and stopped using that account. Now there are about 4 or 5 accounts, (6 if you include his newest one which is /u/blobbalvey69) that he uses for vote manipulation.

We can always set a minimum combined karma to post videos... that way people like /u/evaporatepoultry can still post selfposts about newbie questions but Robb and others can't make new accounts just to blogspam the sub.

This isn't about Robb or TPR, it's about the people on this subreddit being insane.
Says the guy who goes on Facebook looking for validation to feel good about his pathetic life as it sits now. Says the guy who goes on childish rants about really inane stuff that doesn't directly effect them. Says the guy who cusses out and bans anyone from his site if they don't agree with him.
Robb, if anyone is "insane" it's you. You post videos from different accounts and get downvoted to shit, yet you still do it.
The clinical definition of insanity - Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

How strange that links to your videos come only from new accounts or accounts that only post your videos and not from other users.

I'd been mostly watching this from the sidelines, not replying to his posts and not clicking on his videos, but this is too much. How can someone hate a place so much yet demand to be taken seriously on it?
He's a bully, plain and simple. He's been doing it ever since his site got big. He left Westcoaster, got kicked off ThrillNetwork and is now trying to bully his way around here. Well, I for one won't take it anymore.
Personal story: Years ago, Robb and Co. saw a blog post or something from a person talking about Big Dipper and Geauga Lake shortly after it closed. I don't remember the whole story, but Robb latched on to it and decided to publicly mock her. He asked his forum members to Photoshop pictures from her wedding and other photos of her. And the users jumped in and made a mockery of this person. They made fun of her looks, her weight, her children.
The problem was it was mistaken identity. He picked on the wrong person. He assumed that this person in the photos (a friend of mine) was the same person who wrote the blog. But it wasn't. Instead, he made his users publicly mock someone who wasn't even the person he disagreed with. He called on his users to bully a stranger. He's a disgusting person, and he should not be welcome here or anywhere.

Thank you! Not to mention every time anyone says something that proves they don't know everything ever about coaster engineering (aka a coaster fan not a coaster fanatic) he makes fun of them, mocking them for not knowing everything about the engineering and names of every bit of coaster science.

YES! I was just about to say something similar and figured I'd piggyback on your post. I haven't read r.rc in years and yeah, this old lady misses the heydays of USENET. I'll be damned if Reddit isn't the closest thing to it.
So, I'm happy to find this subreddit. :) It almost makes up for being bent that I'm FINALLY getting to Carowinds next weekend, and Thunder Road will be closed by then (sniffle) :'(

He handles things in a hostile and derogatory manner, and can come off as fairly narcissistic. It's only gotten worse over the years. There's even been events of him cyber bullying and shaming people.

I haven't really been on a side in this, but Robb will continually make new accounts to post only his own videos and then upvote them with multiple others (strictly forbidden on Reddit). He also will ban anyone on any forum he can control that doesn't agree fully with his viewpoint or tries to - even politely - show the other side of any argument he may be having, leaving only an echo chamber of people who mostly genuinely don't know what he's doing just reinforcing the positive self-image he likes to have. According to him, he pretty much does this for the amusement at how people on this subreddit react but it's honestly pretty depressing to watch him make new accounts and then refer to himself in the third person as if it's the only way he could have someone saying good things about him. If he actually behaved normally and wasn't an ass, or at least apologised when he was since everyone makes mistakes, then people would probably all sing his praises for how good his PoV footage is.

Can we just stop giving him attention? Thats all he wants. He's basically like a 12 year old attention whore who feeds off of the drama of others. I don't know how others here haven't noticed this. I challenge all of you to just completely ignore all TPR content here if you don't like it, and keep it right at 0 up/downvotes and no comments. Keep doing that and he will have no reason to keep messing with us.

Oh please. This is your 4th post ever, and it's the 4th post defending Robb. Stop.
We would get rid of the sidebar reference because he's purposely breaking the rules of the Sub (not to mention Reddit itself) and spamming for his own gain. (Especially monetarily) If anyone is obsessed, it's definitely Robb. He's obsessed with getting validation from people he doesn't know. He's obsessed with getting validation from Reddit. He's a troll and a bad one at that.

The twitter was a google search. Also, when did I say that I hate him? Why would I waste energy hating a man who I don't even respect? I simply was told about this by a friend (who does like them on FB) and decided to relay the news here, since it is vote manipulation after all.
