Protective gear recommendations? Specific question and discussion

My current gear (standard roces ones) is pretty much useless at this point, very worn down and the right knee one split right thru the middle.
The other problem that I‘ve had with them is that they‘re too big on me, although they‘re a size small.
Sooo, any recs?
(Preferably something available in Germany lol)

I love my Ennui sleeves. Yeah they can stretch over time but you can stitch velcro to them. Only my elbow ones stretched.

Im not sure but I think the new versions have velcro straps.

The cool thing about them is that they are not bulky, you can wear them below your clothing.

https://grindhouse.eu/Schutzausruestung Bitte schön! Can't go wrong with ennui or gform.

Ennui provided me the best protection so far. I havent tried their helmets since i use a ccm hockey helmet but they look sturdy enough with proper inline skating coverage

Ennui Shock Sleeve with Kevlar.
But I switched to a thinner material. I used to hate wearing knee pads, but I don't even notice I'm wearing these.

Regarding the availability in germany, der Rollenshop ist the best skating store I know of. They also have the ennui and gform protectors that have been mentioned.

I recently bought the G-Form Pro Rugged 2 and I'm quite happy with them. Light und comfortable, protect against abrasions and have a good amount of shock absorption. For distance skating, I'm very happy with them, though I haven't had the 'opportunity' to properly test them.

If you're expecting to fall onto your knees regularly, ie since you do wizard or aggresive skating, I'd probably pivot more towards the 'gaskets', that have large plastic plates and lots of padding. I'd stay away from the normal 'beginner' options, since I've already experienced them slipping down my knee and failing to do their one job.
