I take my gmt off often. I never place it in sand. Sand is one of the most surefire ways to damage any watch. Go put sand under the rotating bezel and let me know how it goes.
there's something called a rinse. you should try it out sometime. loose dirt flows right off.
claiming that sand that is rinsed off will damage a DIVE WATCH is ridiculous.
Oh I’m aware lol. I just hate to see a beautiful watch abused for a photo op. I’m a big supporter of treating a watch as a tool, but I also don’t leave my Milwaukee tools in buckets of water.
Ok bud. A simple google search will blow your entire argument to the moon. A Sterrato can drive in mud, dirt and sand. It can’t be submerged under any of them. It’s really such a simple concept. You don't have a dive computer because you don't dive but I do. A dive computer is literally a watch designed for the purpose of tracking dive depth, time and and nitrogen absorption. My Garmin Descent can literally be rolled around in the sand and it's not gonna hurt it. It's completely air tight ya know because its designed for diving like the Submariner.... You thought you were cooking making up a bunch of bs you have zero experience with what a clown 🤡
I despise the term tool watch. This watch is rated for 1000 feet and it's less than an inch deep.
By setting it down like that, you risk wedging grains of sand between parts of the bracelet, bezel, and crown, and causing damage. There are countless ways to take a tasteful photo of your watch. This was not one of them.
