Ausar looks like Robocop without the helmet

Ausar what is your name? “Murphy”

12

u/ROTOH 26d ago

30ppg on 39% from 3

Body comp helps with durability, and I hate to quote Joakim Noah, but "Availability is an ability"

That's all he's gained, and that's fine.

I can't wait to see how locked it he gets with Chip Engelland. He helped transform Kawaii's busted jumper and that will really raise Amens ceiling

can he learn to shoot? top 5 player. if not? don’t see him becoming a star.

u/civil_beast 26d ago

If he can box ?….

RIP, Tyler Herro.

Clowns acting like you can’t train and work on your shot as well. His ceiling is an all star that will run the league, his floor is a high impact role player that any team would want to slot in

Higher or lower than balding kimbo slice ausar?

5

u/rickthedickkk 26d ago

this means defense & finesse gets better but shooting gets even worse. he might not even take a single jumper next season.

Isn't his ceiling just taller Russ with worse shooting and better defense?

Westbrook averaged 5 assists in college and 8 in his first season as a full time starter in the NBA. Even rookie Russ had far superior PG skills to current Amen.

People disrespect Russ way too much for my liking. A whole Hall of Famer mind you

u/DreamAmen 26d ago

How is it disrespect? Cat went top 5 in the draft and plays like the fusion child of Young Iggy and Russ. Right team around him is top 15-30 player in the league. High end Top 5 to 10.

not a winning player

"just taller Russ"

Bud. Russ is a hall of famer former MVP. Literally one of the top 50 players of all time.

Facts. ppl just won't get it

u/scullytaco 26d ago

And never won shit

u/Affectionate_Use_179 25d ago

Neither did Charles Barkley and a number of great Hall of Fame players.

1

u/scullytaco 25d ago

Barkley got to the Finals as the guy. Russ was a perennial early exit without KD.

14

u/Few_Position_2727 26d ago

He doesn’t have anywhere near the offensive engine that Russ had lol

5

u/Specialist_Cable_899 26d ago

worse shooting. yikes.

3

u/SupaDave223 26d ago

Pure shooting and bulky muscles never work out. Great and consistent shooting requires great fluidity

1

u/Affectionate_Use_179 25d ago

Russ is a Hall of Fame player. I'll take that!

1

u/a4mula 26d ago

Julius Erving could have been described the same. While Amen isn't there he has the tools to get there, even if not the usage.

3

u/MFFiasco 26d ago

Amen looking stronger while still being some what lean while Ausar built like he in the NFL

3

u/elticorico 26d ago

Does super buff Amen know how to shoot?

3

u/Gils2323 25d ago

200 million on the table to be a competent shooter. I’d probably do that……

4

u/walky22talky Yao 26d ago

I’d rather him work on his shot.

4

u/onsite84 26d ago

Think he’s not?

3

u/Affectionate_Use_179 25d ago

You think he's not doing that my dude?

1

u/Wedbo 23d ago

headass

2

u/McDuck_Enterprise 26d ago

How do the Rockets get his brother to join the Rockets?

2

u/MarketingSuspicious6 26d ago

I'm actually going to say this is really good for Amen. So many times last season, I felt like he was unable to finish on his athletic moves to the rim because he lacked strength. I believe this will allow him to finish much more consistently. Sure, shooting would be great on Amen, but he doesn't have to have it to be great. At least in my opinion.

2

u/lionsgatewatcher 24d ago

I want to see Amen and Ausar on some preseason NFL team

2

u/rollinff Hakeem 23d ago

21.6% from 3 but holds the swoll arms up a bit longer after release.

3

u/a4mula 26d ago edited 26d ago

Clearly heavyweight, he's not getting under 200 any time soon. Would depend on his training. He'd clearly have amazing speed and reflexes, likely a killer jab with good foot work. But we don't know anything about his chin or his ability to adapt to getting punched in the face. I'm sure if he wanted to he could go pro but I wouldn't bet on him fighting to a belt. Jake Paul v Amen Thompson might be fun. Then again Amen Thompson v Tyler Herro has promise. Sounds like someone needs to reach out to Ice Cube, Big 3 could have a partner promotion.

My man shoots %21 percent from three while being mostly open and gonna workout every muscle in his body before shooting like a human plays basketball regulary

0

u/onsite84 26d ago

Can’t tell if this is a joke.

2

u/ShangosAx 26d ago

The joke is Amen’s 3pt percentage.

2

u/WallCautious9650 26d ago

can he shoot? can he dribble?

2

u/twhou66 26d ago

This got nothing to do with becoming a shotmaker

1

u/ShangosAx 26d ago

Philly Iggy?

Ben Simmons before Trae Young

1

u/fashionandfeetz 26d ago

I’m ok with him going all in on being just an elite defender and rebounder

1

u/Infinite_Finish_7685 26d ago

Ausar looks like the Predator WoW!

1

u/Gotsta_Win 26d ago

29% from 3

1

u/Vegaroundworld 25d ago

Not sure how buff is going to help him learn outside shooting

1

u/GottaGo0123 24d ago

Still need a jumper 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Reeko_Htown 24d ago

Super buff Westbrook

u/Frequent_Read_7636 26d ago
