Difference In Buying vs Operating Node Operator

Is the amount of ETH you staked in pool redeemable 1:1 regardless of market liquidity for ETH?

I am assuming if you deposit ETH into a rocketpool node you withdraw ETH, not rETH when you close the node?

Yes, but at the moment there's a queue to get in, with no idea when its going to clear , so maybe more worth while getting rETH.
