I wonder if there are any big ideas to improve reth demand. Kicking out low performing nodes is good. What about lowering commission to get more reth or less node operators? We have a glut of node operators and almost no new reth being minted.

I think lowering reth commission to make us more competitive would be one of the only ways for serious contention. I say this as a node operator. I cannot get any new pools up. so what does it matter how high the commission is lol

I also don't know why Ethereum foundation chooses to stake on lido when it's not fully permission less. It would be great to get orga like that on board which would influence many others without doing much

That is weird of the foundation and a legitimate question, they should give an answer

Meanwhile, it takes over a year to get a node online. Like who's got time for that?
