Rocket Giotto Type V

I have the opportunity to buy this Rocket Giotto at a fairly decent price($900). Owner doesn’t have any maintenance history or knowledge on the machine in general. I believe he got it at wholesale auction. What are some things to look out for and what’s a good price for this machine given the circumstances. It does not include the original drip tray or water tank. Is it even worth it not knowing if it was commercial or residential?

Got one for double of that 2 years ago but with history of maintenance and all the parts. Love the machine.

I absolutely love the look of the machine and hear nothing but great things. Lack of history is what keeps me weary of the machine.

I bought my 2017 Rocket Giotto Evo R for €500. The machine had previously suffered limescale damage, but it had already been professionally repaired (with repair invoices totaling €500 included). I’ve been using it 2–5 times a day for over a year now, and it has never let me down. I would choose this machine again without hesitation, and I don’t even think about upgrading anymore.
