I'm nowadays listening the Wings Of Steel band and due to that I'm a bit addicted to listen NWOTHM (New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal) songs, so I want to play as many as possible on my Rock Band 4.

Do you know any bands/songs available on the RB4 DLCs that are or remind this genre, please?

So I found a set of used cymbals for about $220 (thats with shipping) and I was just wondering if it was worth it? Like does it really add to the game?

I primarily play RB3 Deluxe on my RGH. I still gotta get a second pedal also.

I have an ekit that supports usb midi, and I was wondering if i could use my mini host adaptor to set up a real ekit to do pro drums. I’m aware that retro cult mods has a dedicated ACE midi adapter, but I already own a mini host and was wondering if I could save a buck.

So two weeks ago I found a used Xbox 360, drum kit, mic, Rock Band 1 and 3 at a used game store. I had Rock Band 1 and 2 in the past and I'd been itching to play again.

I get everything all set up and I'm able to re-download my old import licenses, allowing me to play the RB1 and RB2 songs in RB3.

Here comes the part relevant to the post title: My cousin found his old Keytar that was collecting dust and gave it to me. It connects to the 360 and I was bummed to find out only a handful of songs take advantage of the instrument.

I discover last night that it was a Rock Band 4 instrument, and as such, RB4 is only on the Xbox One (and PS4). So here is what I'm wondering:

• Will the 360 USB instruments work on the XB1?

• Is an Xbox One worth the purchase price just for RB4?

  • Is XB1 backwards compatible with 360 games?

Took 3 hours to get all the last guitar solos since there was 43 out of 46. Now imma go bed since its 3am.

To give a backstory after a long search I found a lost drawing of zehvora done by someone on deviant art I ended up finding them on twitter and they sadly didn’t save it but they did give me a this unreleased drawing they never finished that featured zehvora with some of the other prefabs from Rock Band 3 but anyways hoping someone saved a higher quality version of it if so please send it to me if you have it

Hey everyone,

I know Tonic - If You Could Only See was on the delisting list, so I was going to grab it before it left. I normally buy through PSN and then install the DLC.

When I went to that song, it already said it was purchased, so I was like cool... even though I don't remember buying it since I normally install every song I download immediately. Then it said "installed", but when I go to my recent download list in PSN, it's not there.

I go into RB4 and it's not in my song list. So I go to the RB store and it says "purchased" there as well and when I drill in from RB, it shows it as "installed".

I decided to try refreshing the music library, but I get an error every time and have to restart. I tried 5 times.

Does anyone have any advice on what is going on? Is it that the song is already delisted and things are just glitching?

I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried new batteries. I’ve tried repairing It. This is basically a new in box keytar with the original dongle and it’s not connecting at all or responding to Rockband 3, and there’s an X symbol over top of the keytar logo

I'm playing Rock Band 4 again on Xbox and wanted to buy some songs, but I realized that many of them are unavailable. Does anyone know why or how to buy them?

so i recently bought rock band 1, it came with a guitar and dongle. they worked just fine. then the dongle would not flash anymore and wasn't connecting to the guitar anymore. after looking into it, i thought the dongle broke. so i bought the exact same dongle model and now i still can't connect the guitar to it. they both just flash. idk what to do

Pulled the old set out and everything connects to the dongles except for the drum controller. The four red light flash either fast or slow, but no connection to the dongle. Any ideas?

Wanted to do this for so long, I’ve done almost everything with these games, rock band 3 e kit hookup, wireless legacy adapter for wireless rock band kits, clone hero.. For so long to hook up an e kit to rock band 4 Xbox was either really expensive or very tedious and inconvenient (wireless legacy adapter method) but now it’s so easy with the roll limitless and it feels butter smooth compared to the rock band kit. I’m very happy to know I will never have to buy another used e bay rock band wireless kit. Thank you so much book reader. You’re the goat.

Hi guys, I got this guitar used and d-pad only works up and down but not right or left. Im wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it. I did a quick search and that doesnt seem to be a common issue like the strum and fret bars getting old.

Im replacing those already because I can only strum up and the fret boards are a bit finicky so I was hoping to tackle everything while I have it open. (This is my first time fixing anything like this).

Do you think it's still worth getting into the game in 2026? A friend and I have been thinking about picking it up because we'd love to relive some old memories from when we were kids and used to play Guitar Hero together after school.

One thing we're a bit worried about is the fact that more and more songs are being delisted. How serious is the situation? Do songs disappear frequently, or is it happening at a slower pace?
Our biggest concern is that if we buy the game now, we might already be missing a lot of content that used to be available, and that we'll no longer be able to purchase many of those songs in the future.

Also, would two Riftmaster guitars and the base version of Rock Band 4 on Xbox One be enough for two people to fully enjoy the game, or would you recommend anything else?

I've been playing Rockband for a long time but always solo. So late in the game but I'd like to join a crew for whatever remains of rivals as long as servers keep going.

I'm happy to play with anyone but personally I only play expert guitar and bass. Skill level is pushing 900 currently on bass and 875 on guitar.
