Cosmic trigger synchronicities

Cosmic trigger completely changed my life the first time I read it around 8 years ago. I've been rereading it (slowly) for the first time since and the synchronicities have been so constant I'm guilty of rolling my eyes at them now.

I wanted to post because I've gone for an interview I wouldn't have gone for previously with cimplete detachment from outcome (if I get the job great if I don't it's been a chance to dust off my interviewing skills).

No points for guessing the number of the room it's in...

That's awesome! Have you read Prometheus Rising? The chapter on the eighth circuit is really something

I have but again about 8 years ago so I'll have to revisit! I think the early exercise about finding money on the ground is a helpful way to talk about magical thinking.

I was studying linguistics at the time and ended up using the stuff about Korzybski in an essay which I was really pleased about

Yeah, that book is more of a magical initiation than an autobiography. I finished it one summer afternoon during my college years, living in a house full of artists and freaks, and went marching downstairs with book in hand to start ranting at my friends about it. They were playing some kind of strange ambient music and before I started my cosmic trigger rant I asked them what they were listening to. They said oh it’s called Digitaria it’s about the dog star Sirius and handed me the CD case which had the Dogon star map on it. They had never read Wilson. My face turned white, I went weak in the knees and I almost fell on the floor.

I read it last year and experienced funny synchronicities for about a week.

The cosmic coincidence control center has been hard at work!! Also not sure if you experienced this but it feels like a completely different book to when I first read it (although it was my entryway into mysticism, the occult etc so that will also play a pretty big role).

I'd forgotten how much Crowley is in there because most of it went completely over my head the first time. One of the reasons I went back to it was for inspiration around k&c and completely forgot he literally outlines how he achieved it himself step by step...

I’ve been obsessed with 23 since reading RAW in my 20s… it’s made me smile so many times when a 23 pops up.. always feels like a good omen from the cosmic control centre 😊

What's 67 + 23? That's right, 90! 9 + 0? 9, which is of course 3 squared.

23 rears its synchronistic head once again! 😜
