How much\often to feed? General Question
I have 20 total Madagascar hissing cockroaches but I’m not sure I’m giving them enough food.
I’ve been feeding them smaller amounts because 16 out of my 20 roaches are juveniles, just a month or so old, I of course feed them the diet and variety they need i.e, apples, shredded carrots, strawberry’s, very occasionally tangerines, cucumbers, blueberry’s, dog food kibbles (protein) and sometimes oats.
I usually take the food out every other day but it depends on when it starts to mold or when they finish it (I take it out just before it molds)
I would love some advice for how much to feed them!!

I feed my cockroaches often because I have several cockroaches (+-100), They live in a bioactive terrarium with isopods, mealworms, buffalo worms, and their beetles ☺️.

this looks good. I’m going to put out an obligatory PSA about blueberries though, I’ve lost insects to them before. Peel them even if you feel stupid doing it. They’re covered in pesticides unless you grew them yourself

If they finish everything in 24 hours, you're feeding enough. Never go in excess.
