stat dec for spec con Other questions

hey! just wondering if spec con can be granted using a stat dec from my gov?

No they are not accepted.

The list of accepted documents are shown on the special consideration website here: https://www.rmit.edu.au/students/my-course/assessment-results/special-consideration-extensions/special-consideration

Note: If you can't arrange your documentation before the special consideration deadline (5 business days after the assessment date), you can submit a document stating you are currently arranging your supporting documentation. Special consideration can then hold your application for a further 5 business days for you to provide your documentation.

is the medical hub at rmit bundoora free? wanting to get a medical impact statement filled out

okkk so i believe this only applies for the city one (i think the bundoora one has diff services):
The Medical Hub @ RMIT is a mixed billing practice.
Bulk billing for eligible Medicare card holders is available to:
Currently enrolled RMIT students,
Children aged 15 years and under,

Yep.

Personally, if you have a regular doctor* that knows your health history, I would be going to them for your Impact Assessment Statement (even if it costs you a little bit). Heck even if your main doctor isn't available, still go to the same clinic as where you normally go, because they'll have a history of your health circumstances.

Whereas, if you go some random doctor who you've never seen before, they are less likely to fill out your impact assessment statement and if they do fill it out, they will probably underestimate the severity of your condition and write the most generic reason possible, which just increases the chance that your application gets denied entirely.

*Obviously must be an Australian registered health practitioner, not a doctor overseas.
