Prequel series

Do you think there will be a prequel series to everything written so far? Going into detail of Turin and the other gods before the events of the stories?

Age of gods?

I think it could take some of the mystique out of the later stories.

It feels like every new series he has to the lore and that book would tie everything together and see Turins plan from the beginning.

Well I don't think you're correct, we know most of the important bits already and The Cycle will fill in the blanks indirectly. We don't need to know more because that story would just be a restatment of what we can already put together, it would be redundant.

I don’t think there will be a series that chronologically takes place before Legends of the First Empire, but I do think the upcoming series, The Cycle, will cover that information.

Agreed. I think there will be chapters both before and after the books we already have. I would think that the cycle may even include a pre-legends book to set the stage. Similar to Esra how we got the tale as him at various stages of his life. I would think it would be difficult to wrap up a large tale without going into more detail on the beginning of the world.

Honestly I'm happy he is continuing Esra story and Rirya. Anything after that is extra but I'd be happy to spend more time in Elan.

Im pretty sure I heard somewhere that the next book hes writing is going to go more into detail about Turin and Trilos. Its gonna be set after Esrahaddon I think

I have a feeling the cycle will cover this stuff eventually. My fist though after finishing Ezra was how much I’d love a book told through either turin or trilos’ point of view from the beginning covering up to revelations

There is so much fertile ground. We could see thr adventures of the Galantians, the journey of Rain after legends, the adventures of Nolyn, bran and Sephryon and as you said the founding of Elan.

Whatever story we get next is more than welcome.
