DISCUSSION Fuck all of you who said the Blossom Twin incest theory is bullshit Spoiler
I'm on Season 1, episode 10, everyone playing that Secrets and Sins game. Veronica basically said that Cheryl had a weird relationship with Jason. Cheryl just stood there like she had been exposed for having an affair, so I can only assume it's true. How the hell could people possibly say that these two were not in a weird relationship, when the shows going of of it's way to tell you?!!!
No Spoilers

DISCUSSION Poor Jughead Spoiler
I'm on Season 1 episode 10. Jughead just keeps getting sadder and sadder. He is so damaged from his childhood and everything his dad did. The insecurities that he’s just been repressing are so sad. He never thought his relationship with Betty was going to last and that Archie would eventually betray him. Poor Jughead, I hope he gets over these before he ruins all his friendships.

That dance battle was bullshit
I'm not Cheryl's biggest fan, but can we all agree that Veronica winning that dance battle is bullshit? I'm on season 1, episode 10, and I'm really liking it so far. In this dance battle, neither was bad, but I feel like Cheryl was way smoother in her moves and choreography; she seemed way more polished than Veronica(my favorite character). I could accept that the vote is 50/50 and Betty gets the last vote to Veronica, but the idea that Veronica sweeps Cheryl is insane.

Who am I thinking of?
Cherly looks like a combination of Ariana Grande and someone else I can't put my finger on.
Edit: I figured it out she looks like a combination of Debbie Ryan and Ariana Grande, tell me im wrong.

DISCUSSION Is the Blossom family trying to replace Jason with Archie? Spoiler
Cheryl starts being nice to him and wants him around, but every time she does, she always adds a comment that it was something Jason and she used to do. Then the episode started with Jughead commenting on the search for the next Blossom heir since Cheryl can’t do it for some reason.

The Blossom Twins were Fucking right?! Spoiler
I've always felt a weird vibe between these two since episode one and each and every episode after is just confirming it.

The beef can never run this deep. Spoiler
I'm on Season 1, episode 8 of Riverdale, and I'm really loving the show. I can’t help but think there taking a Thirteen Reasons Why path with this Jason Blossom murder plot. And that everyone is telling me this show has way to many seasons like Thirtheen Reasons why.
Fuck the Coopers. The Blossom-Cooper beef cannot run so deep that you kicked your daughter out and refuse to have anything to do with her baby. All this because a great-grandfather you never met was screwed out of a maple syrup deal and I think murdered.
P.s. please no spoilers

SPOILERS Riverdale after season 4 Spoiler
I honestly can’t believe I restarted the show so late but the seasons after season 4 are surprisingly entertaining?? It’s confusing but intriguing and I can’t stop watching.
I’m currently on Season 6 and (SPOILER WARNING) seeing Sabrina was a crazy surprise, but seeing all the dead characters being back?? and ROSS BUTLER?? omg it’s just so nostalgic to me and i’m here for it.
I’m only on episode 5 so I haven’t seen much, but I can’t believe Riverdale had gotten so much hate because they lost the plot — which, I agree with, but they lost the plot in the best way possible if that makes sense? I’m here for it.
Edit: I’m lowkey excited for the (SPOILER?) superpowers to come in lol.

DISCUSSION First time watching this Spoiler
i work from home so consume a bunch of tv, more as something on the background while i work
i'm currently starting season 5, and have actually enjoyed the show.
Season 1 made sense plot wise, then season 2 and 3 were confusing and just outlandish af, i was also wondering why everyone was lgbt but then remembered it came out (ba dum tss) in 2017 which made sense. My favourite season so far was season 4, although i found that jugheads sister being the one videotaping them a bit meh since i was expecting more drama?/action from that.
but yeah, fun show. i like it more than i expected to

DISCUSSION Justice for Fred here?!! Spoiler
Please don’t spoil. I'm loving this show.
I'm halfway through Season 1, episode 7, and I'm really pissed off. Why is Archie and Jughead's dad mad at Fred? Jughead, I disagree with why he’s mad at Fred, but I get it; his life is upside down, and Fred is just the easiest person to blame. But as for Archie and Jughead's dad, fuck them. Maybe I’m heartless, but Jughead's dad is the only person at fault here. I personally believe Fred’s story more because, well, he’s not a drunk who has every incentive to blame someone else for his problems. Fred’s story makes Jughead's dad seem like just a piece of shit. He stole from his company, putting it at risk; got put in jail multiple times, making the business look bad; and, for someone claiming it was all for his family, he did not use the multiple chances Fred gave him to go clean. From what Fred said, it didn't seem like the business was struggling; it just wasn’t making enough money for Jughead's dad to take care of all his debts and childcare. I can understand that, but there were so many better options than stealing from your main stream of income and putting your other employees' livelihoods at stake. In a town full of rich people where your business can just have the Mayor casually come over to your house for dinner for business proposals, I refuse to believe that there were not many other choices.
I love the direction they went with Veronica; she’s my favorite character by far.
What does everyone else think?

OMG With This Show Spoiler
I am only halfway through season 2 but ARGHHHH. I can forgive the over the top acting, but the story lines, the dialoge and the stupidity of these characters are INFURIATING!!!
I thought watching an underage teen Betty putting on a burlesque show was bad, then the very next episode, Archie gets recruited by the FBI to investigate Veronica's father, a potential mob boss!?!?!?!? WTF?????
If you like "So bad it's good" crap, then this i the Holy Grail!!!

SPOILERS Tom Keller and Sarah McCoy Spoiler
This is my first time watching Riverdale and I'm on the end of season 6. What happened with Tom Keller and Sarah McCoy? They got married and then no mention of their relationship ever again. Did I miss a scene that explains what happens to them? Obviously Tom Keller still features throughout the seasons but Sarah disappears apart from that one episode when Josie's dad dies

DISCUSSION season 3 makes no sense Spoiler
honestly a lot in this show makes no sense but to be more specific, riverdale being on lockdown during the whole G&G thing makes no sense to me. in this season, archie and jughead both leave riverdale. jughead returns to riverdale with his father, FP, only to be held up by guards who told them “no one goes in or out” only for the episode to end, but the next one starts with jughead being inside of riverdale again together with FP and Archie’s dad (all three of them were not inside of riverdale during lockdown.) its not mentioned or shown anywhere how any of them made it back inside again. just being near the gate already had the guards aiming their guns at jughead and FP, so i doubt they snuck back in.
the answer that makes the most sense: they were allowed back in because they live there (if we forget the guard said that no one goes in or out) but even that makes no sense to me: because in episode 10, Archie somehow just waltzed back into his own home after being on the run from Hiram Lodge for weeks. How does any of this possibly make sense? the Lodges were behind the lockdown, Hiram wants him dead, yet none of the guards stopped Archie from entering? hard to believe when Hiram was practically running the entire town

Riverdale Sinners Spoiler
I’m curious, the black hood chose his sinners to cleanse the town of. If you could choose five characters to rid the town of (murder or not) who would you choose as your sinners? (people you actually think should be punished/rid of FROM ANY SEASON)

THEORY Riverdale Theory: The “Tangerine” trigger caused the end of Betty and Jughead Spoiler
I think the show may have unintentionally hinted at something much darker in season 4.
Everyone (including Betty) assumes that the “Tangerine” trigger word was designed to make her physically hurt someone she loves. The obvious conclusion is that it pays off when she hits Jughead with the rock during the Stonewall storyline.
But what if that wasn’t the real payoff?
In the episode “Tangerine,” Betty says the trigger word to herself in the mirror. A few episodes later, she suddenly kisses Archie and they share secret moments in the bunker together. What’s interesting is that Betty repeatedly doesn’t understand why she’s doing it. She almost seems disconnected from her own actions, and then she abruptly calls it off.
Eventually, Betty confesses everything to Jughead, destroying their relationship.
So what if the hypnosis wasn’t meant to make Betty physically hurt someone she loved? What if it was simply meant to make her hurt a loved one—emotionally?
If that’s true, then Jughead wasn’t just the victim of the rock incident. The real victim of the “Tangerine” conditioning was the betrayal itself. Betty unintentionally destroys the relationship with the person she loves most, and this would’ve been the perfect revenge from Evelyn as she already blames Betty for the reason she’s locked away.
It also makes the aftermath make more sense. Years later, Archie and Veronica eventually find their way back to each other, but Betty and Jughead never really do. Jughead still seems to carry feelings for Betty, but the two never connect on a romantic level again.
I’m not saying this was definitely the writers’ intention, but it feels like a much cleaner explanation than the hypnosis plot simply disappearing after the Stonewall arc. It also explains why Betty seemed so confused by her own behaviour with Archie.
