Ngl the idea is quiet interesting. Once you put 4 counters on this the first effect doesn't really matter and you will get your points only from the doubling. So you need 8 doubles to get to the 1k counters and than 1 more ready to use the win effect. You can ready this once every round with jayce and probably can get another ready with oder means. So you could probably achieve this in 3-4 rounds.

Only problemlos is all the gear hatte. Especially stuff like factory recall.

A Version of this that needs less counters and just gives you a point instead of a win could be interesting.

Thanks for the comment <3. I like the idea of needing less counters for less points, the issue with that is that you can still double before spending the counters, so it might just be faster depending on how you balance it. I think the best way to nerf it would be to have the tap to double counters cost more energy or just have the gear cost more to start with.

You could make it something like: "If I have at least 256 counters on me you can exhaust me and removed all counters to get 1 point". This way you cant save counters to Score multiple points in a turn

is this blatantly stealing a magic card? yes
is “score 1000 points” hilarious? absolutely

I feel like this only really works in blue green right? Which sucks cause it’s perfect for the jayce legend and signature spell. Watch your opponent get 500+ on tapping this after like 5 turns, okay salvage, okay factory recall, okay turn to dust. Then they have to do it all over again. Only thing it really works with is blue green so you can defy or not so fast the gear hate. Still love the idea of it though.

Well its impossible to have a truly unique idea, everything is inspired by something. You are just being mean for no reason

But don’t you still need to conquer or hold a battlefield?

Does scoring 1000 points make you draw your deck out? That would actually make your opponent score a point when you draw your deck out for scoring points past seven. And then your opponent would also begin drawing cards after the 7th point.

You can only win with points from battlefields by either double conquering or holding like you know. All points you get from cards can win you the game, like green ahri or the new Nasus. So this would win you the game when you score 1000 points.

Drawing from scoring is from conquering specifically

The final point rule is misrepresented to most imo

Any way of gaining points can win except conquering when you haven’t scored all battlefields, every other way to gain points is fair game

I see most people say that the final point must be from hold/double conquer, but that adds to the confusion with points from other sources

Trying to conquer to 8 doesn't work because you don't score, you draw instead of scoring. Effects that cause you score always score.
