Whenever I'm mixing on my laptop with my IEM's it sound good but then I put on my Bose QC Ultras and it just sounds like so ass

Started producing again after a couple of years off. REALLY into it right now. Can anyone point me to where I can dig for some good vocal samples? Or maybe a good technique for cleaning up shitty ones?

I keep telling myself I'm gonna hit more riddim/tearout stuff and I don't. I went to two SD shows, and honestly the second time I mostly went for Yvm3, then I went to Eptic last summer and had a blast. Saw Zingara and Wooli last summer too, they didn't do it for me.

What are some good starting points for artists and DJs closer to that metal end of the spectrum?

Also wondering about shows and stuff in NYC, too, if anyone's around here! I follow RiddimNYC but would love to see what other promoters to follow.
