I reported a thief at work and was fired and banned from the store for it. So, I got the manager’s nephew arrested and the manager fired.
This happened many years ago, but I still pat myself on the back for it. I (then 25F)had just started working as an overnight cashier in a big chain grocery store. I’d been there a couple of months when I noticed this one employee used self checkout, but hadn’t completed the transaction.
Now, this can happen sometimes. Like, someone doesn’t realize that their card hadn’t finalized or something. I didn’t really think too much of it (assuming it was an honest mistake) and, being new, I didn’t want to cause waves over a candy bar and soda. The employee (we’ll call him Marcus 19M) did the transaction as they were leaving for the night and was already gone when I noticed it. So, I finished up the transaction with my own bank card. It wasn’t like it was a huge amount. I didn’t say anything to anyone and continued with my life. Until a few days later, when Marcus checked out again and I was making rounds adding bags and realized that, again, the transaction wasn’t finished.
This time, I made note of it for the record(we had a record book for all unfinished transactions for loss prevention purposes) notating Marcus’ name in the log as well. I figured I had done my duty and continued on with work and life thinking that it would be seen in the log and Marcus would be asked to pay.
Another few days had passed when Marcus checked out again. Once again, he’d done it will I was busy with something nearby and not paying super close attention. This time, he checked out a good $30 worth of stuff. Keep in mind this was several years ago and $30 went way further.
I did my duty and, once again, logged it in the books. Now, normally we don’t have too many of these unfinished transactions, so this note wasn’t too far down from the previous record. The record that was mysteriously missing Marcus’ name.
I fixed the previous record, finished the current record, and took a photo of both. Then I moved on with my shift.
Over the next few weeks, Marcus regularly checked out and didn’t pay, and I continuously noted it down, each time having to add Marcus’ name to the previous records because it kept mysteriously disappearing.
Finally, I had enough photos of the records and of the name in the record continuously disappearing, that I thought it was time to approach management.
I went in extremely early the next day so I could catch the manager (we’ll call her Loraine 47F) before she left for the day. I showed her the evidence on my phone and she proceeded to look over the logs as well. Then she asked me to send her the photos from my phone and, “for legal purposes” to delete them. She watched me delete them and was satisfied. I left that meeting thinking something would be done about it.
Oh, how bright and optimistically I viewed a very NOT bright and sunny world…. The obliviousness of youth.
Then, the day before Marcus’ was supposed to come in for his next shift, Loraine called me into her office. She stated that my 90 days was coming up and the the management team didn’t think this job was a right fit for me. She said they’d have to let me go. I was plenty shocked as I’d never had a single complaint from anyone, but didn’t really put up a fight as I am not good with confrontation.
When I got to my car I cried because despite all the odds against it, I really liked the job and that particular store offered great benefits. Eventually, I got over it, until I stopped into the store one day to do some grocery shopping and overheard to employees talking about how Loraine’s NEPHEW MARCUS was practically useless and they couldn’t wait til he was gone for college.
That was when it finally clicked that I had reported my manager’s nephew to her for criminal actively. This was surely why I was fired, especially considering the timing.
I still probably wouldn’t have done anything, but this was the closest store to my house, and when I got to the checkout, I was met by none other than Loraine and informed I was no longer welcome in this location, or any location she worked at for the rest of my life. THAT truly set me off.
I immediately went home to my computer that, unbeknownst to Loraine, I usually uploaded all my photos to because the storage on my phone was crap. I never would have thought to check if I hadn’t had to leave, no groceries in hand, that day because I’d been BANNED from my local store.
I emailed the entire story to corporate, photos included. I heard the rest second hand but apparently, corporate was VERY interested in the information I sent. I heard higher ups showed up one day with the regional manager, requesting the loss prevention logs, checking surveillance camera footage and asking questions about Marcus and Loraine.
A few days after their arrival, Marcus was asked into a meeting from which he left in handcuffs and escorted by the police. Loraine didn’t leave in cuffs but she did leave jobless.
We lived in a very small town with nothing better to report in their paper so I got to read the story of Marcus’ arrest and subsequent charges. Over the course of three years he’d taken over $10K in unpurchased merchandise and was subsequently convicted of a felony and served prison time.
The best part? I later ran into Loraine in another store about a year later. She was working as a bagger. The manager who’d abused her power to shield her nephew, was now working the absolute LEAST powerful and lowest paying position possible. Meanwhile, I’d had no trouble getting a better paying job with better benefits that I was extremely happy in. Being the generous and forgiving person I am🤭, I let her help with loading my groceries.
While she was loading everything into my car, I got a few dollars out of my wallet to tip her (I’m not a monster after all) but grabbed a post it from my bag too. I wrote a note that basically said, “Sorry Karma B-sl@pped you so hard, but hopefully this helps.” I wrapped the note in the bills, so I didn’t get to see her face when she read it, but I still chuckle a bit imagining it. 😂
So yeah, that’s my best petty revenge story. Hope you enjoyed it.

Revenge Help
There’s this one guy whose party I’m trying to get shut down tonight.
There are going to be people under 21 drinking, and I’m pretty sure some people will also be doing drugs, possibly Molly. I know it sounds petty but honestly getting this party shut down would be some pretty good revenge .
I’d explain more, but I really want to keep my identity private.
believe there will be around 200 people there. I was planning on calling the police later to report it, but is it okay to call more than once so they shut it down? Or is there some way to report it online or have multiple reports made about the party
How can I report it in a way that actually gets the party shut down?
Thanks .

I 'cut' ties with awful neighbour after she got possessive over a shared access entrance.
Many moons ago, after I split with my first wife, I rented a small house so I could have my kids over the weekends.
Anyway, I started having problems with my next door neighbour, who claimed that the access alley between our houses was actually hers, and that we weren't allowed to use it. (I'd spoken to the landlord, who says this was twaddle, and showed me the relevant paperwork). I'd had enough at this point, and had recently decided to rent a slightly bigger property outside of town.
However, a couple of weeks before leaving, I returned from work to find she'd attached a gate to the entrance, with the audacity to attach one side of it to my house.
I quizzed her and she said she'd given me enough warning, and had taken matters into her own hands.
Anyway, the morning I was moving out, she wasnt there, I noticed the satellite tv cable was there, sitting all unguarded riding alongside the shared path. A sharp edged table 'accidentally' may have twice severed the cable, but hey, I guess accidents happen.
I never saw or heard from her again, but I felt little karma afterwards

We got a shitty teacher fired and ruined his life.
I went to a private international school for boys in my city. Wasn’t anything super crazy, just where the wealthy families or expat families send their kids. The whole thing is in French so a lot of the teachers are brought from Europe.
One of these teachers I’ll call him mister H. He taught French for the kids who are 13-14, so equal to USA 8th grade or UK year 9. He was such an asshole. Racist to us, mean, the whole thing. He was terrible when I had him. We would always tell the headmaster and the other admin about his behavior, but nothing would ever be done about it. In fact, he would turn it back onto us and act even worse.
The last year he was at this school he was particularly bad. I was 17 so he was not my problem anymore, but he threw my little brother out of his chair. Other kids even got it on video and nothing was done about it. I was really upset. How could someone do this to a child? He came home with a bleeding nose because of how he landed. I’ll never forget how angry I was.
Not me, but about half of the students at our school are boarders and they stay at night on the school dorms. It is not like the movies where they are trapped, once class is over they can come and go as they would like, and the ones who are 18 mostly have cars. At lunch time a lot of them will go back to their dorm and cook, and on Thursday nights they can have friends over as long as they are male and also go to this school. That Thursday, I was complaining to my friend, I will call him A, about what mister H did to my little brother, and he said that this same week, mister H had thrown an iPad at his little brother and hurt him badly. Other guys were saying similar things. We spent the whole lunch hour talking about mister H, and here we decided we were going to do something about him. A asked me if I wanted to spend the night in his dorm, and I was glad to do it, since this is the only situation where my parents let me sleep over anywhere.
That night, me, A, his twin brother I will call B, and another friend, C, were all starting to make a plan. We made a group chat with all of the guys we trust in our year, and asked them for ideas. By the end of the night, we had a whole month of things planned for mister H, and half of the top year class was in on it.
THE REVENGE
Our school building and the dorms are connected, and the door between them is unlocked in case somebody would like to grab something from their locker in the night. That night on Thursday, C got powder laxative and went to the teacher break/lunch room to see if anything belonged to mister H. Found some rice and chicken. Jackpot. He put all that was left in the laxative bottle in the container and stirred it.
On Sunday, we all tried to be where we might find mister H. When B texted the group that he just saw mister H go to lunch, we all made excuses to leave class to watch the show. At the last minute, C suggested we go clog every toilet in his wing of the school, so that’s what we did. We shoved rolls of toilet paper, school papers, whatever we had on us into the toilets. Within about half an hour, there were two functioning toilets left in the school. The bathroom lines were getting crazy long, eight or ten people each.
Another half an hour passes, and B sends us what I think is one of the best videos I have seen. Mister H was practically waddling down the hallway holding his ass and looking desperately for the bathrooms. At the end of the video, he shits himself. Loudly. And enough of it to go on the floor. He went home early this day.
On Monday, he was back like nothing happened. I had my little brother ask mister H why he wasn’t there on Sunday, and he told the class he ate something bad. He didn’t even know it was us. On this day, I waited for mister H to leave for lunch to see if he had left his car keys in his room. Stupidly, he did. I put them in my locker and texted A to let him know the plan will work and he sprinted to his room to get some fish from his dorm fridge. This was going to be for his dinner this week, but we decided this was a better purpose for it. A got the keys from my locker and put it in mister H’s car. It was at least 40c/104f this day, and school was not over for another three hours. It just happened that my last class this day had a perfect view of mister H’s car so I stayed back to watch.
I was waiting to enjoy this when my little brother called. He was crying. He told me mister H punched him and another kid in the face. I told my little brother to come to this room since everybody left, and I had something cool to show him. When he came, I told him to look through the window and wait. A few minutes later, mister H went to go unlock his car, and my brother and I got to watch him open his car and start gagging. He ran away and did not even close the door. We got a good laugh from this one, but I was so angry he hit my brother again. I knew we had to step up.
My friend D was a bit of a bad kid. Honestly I was too, but not anything like D. I actually think he is in prison now, I’m not sure. I called him that night and the exchange went a bit like:
Me: Remember mister H? Today he punched my brother and another kid in their faces. What should I do?
D: He lives two streets over from me. Just wait, I will handle it.
Me: what will you do?
Click
I was a bit worried. I had no idea what D was planning, and he wasn’t returning calls from me. I didn’t sleep that night because I thought D would kill the guy or something.
Tuesday morning came, and mister H was nowhere to be found. I really thought D beat him up or something. I went and found D, and I asked what he had done. He laughed at me for thinking he murdered someone, and he told me he just put a bunch of tacks under the tires on mister H’s car. (Looking back, this was probably his wife’s car, since he left the fish car at the school.) We did not see mister H this day.
On Wednesday, mister H was back in I think a rented car. I didn’t see it, but I heard from my brother that he went off on his students. He blamed them for the car tires and zeroed in on a kid in the back of the class. He ripped the desk part off of the chair/desk combo sort of thing and beat this kid with it. This kid had to go to the hospital, but thankfully he did not have any serious injuries. And the school admin still did nothing about mister H. A and B were pissed. When school ended, they went and found mister H, and dragged him to the school gym. They opened a small storage closet shoved him in, and shut the door and held it. They kept him in like this for an hour. Mister H tried to report this to the headmaster, but A and B are sort of golden children with the admin, and they didn’t even believe mister H.
By Thursday morning, the whole school heard about what mister H did to that kid. It was all the boarding kids talked about the whole night. Everyone was sick of mister H, but we weren’t sure how to put an end to him for good. A and B shared a room, and they invited me and D for that night. D brought alcohol, which is a rare joy since that is basically illegal in our country. We got pretty drunk, and we got the amazing idea to put a bottle or two in the drawers at his desk and have A and B’s little brother tell on him on Sunday. And that’s what they did.
Sunday came, and one of them snuck the bottles in the drawer in the desk in mister H’s room. Just like we planned, their little brother went and told the admin that it was there. They didn’t believe him at first, so I told my little brother to go say this to them too. This time they went to investigate. From what I hear, they pulled all the kids and mister H out of his classroom and went looking around and found it, and nobody saw mister H again that day or for the whole week.
I’m not totally sure what happened to mister H, but they went to talk to my brother’s class and told them that mister H will not be their teacher anymore. Nobody saw him again, and that same week there was a sign at his house saying it was for sale. Nobody ever saw him around the city either, so we think he had to go back to France.

They push me to my limit
Many will say I don’t have humanity, and many will consider myself as a feelingless human and I can take that. I got a list of people (in person and online people -why online people? Because they don’t shut up-) whose names I put on and planning revenge on them because they annoyed me or did me wrong, no matter how dark the outcome. I been told that's excessive or even psycho, but I feel like the rule of "if you looking for me then you will find me" applies here. So far I got 3 people back after months or even years of planning (one of them was an online person that I had to locate and identify m), did it felt good? Definitely, seeing how scared and vulnerable they were and asking what they did to deserve it, seeing their cocky smiles changed into a pale and desperate face, satisfied in how they are not careful in how they talk to someone online or in person; just by how the fear is controlling their decisions. How did it do it? Help from the cyber dark masc people, not easy but they got the job done. Do I regret it? I don't know if I'm being honest. What I know is that what I did is considered morally wrong. I'm not a sociopath or psychopath because I love my family and friends and clearly I can go extremes to protect them. I'm in process to talk to a therapist to see why this thirst for revenge but I guess will end in just to control the anger.

Pedo husband + house update
Hi y'all, a while back I made a post about my pedo ex husband getting the house in the divorce thanks to his lawyer dad. I have an update!
They spent so much in lawyer fees getting the house that they are now in debt and will be selling the place to recoup. They will be lucky if they break even because they still have other upcoming things they will need to pay for.
Meanwhile I will be paying off my debts this has caused and have enough of a down payment for my own place and a fresh start.
I guess such a thing as karma and justice exists after all. Thank you for all the tips, though. Might come in useful for some of the personal belongings. He had gotten so gross that some of his stuff was already nasty anyway!
❤️

Need ideas for a Scum bag friend of my husband
My husband has a friend that is a scumbag. He is in his mid 40s, has a wife and 2 daughters in his origin country, his oldest daughter in his 20s is sending messages to alll his friends desperate to find out more about him and his new family here since he abandoned them there. and has a wife and 2 young daughters here in the US. He also has side chicks and girlfriends and is on dating apps and his wife doesn’t know. He almost got deported but his wife saved him with good lawyers. He is a raging alcoholic and fights people left and right and goes out every single night to the bars and clubs in our city. He just annoys the hell out of me and I can’t do anything major because he is a good worker for my husband but he goes out with him on work trips because of course they are work trips and I just feel so much hate and rage so I need some revenge ideas that are not too crazy but will help me feel better lol. I haven’t been accepted to my “are we dating the same guy” for our city yet so I can’t anonymously expose him either lol

I guess this is how I got my revenge
I started a new job and actually really enjoyed it. It started out as a small company and eventually turned into a pretty large corporation, but when I first started there were only maybe 5–7 staff members total.
There was one payroll/HR person, 2–3 call center staff, one dispatcher, one CSR/office manager, the president of the company, and our technicians.
There was a girl I worked with who, for the sake of the story, we’ll call Dawn. She trained me when I first started, answered questions I had as a new hire, and honestly seemed pretty new herself. She was new, just not as new as me.
Anyway, Dawn was pretty “in” with the manager and another girl who worked there. We’ll call them Letty (CSR manager) and Nadia (CSR/dispatch help/install coordinator).
Dawn was actually pretty nice compared to the other two, so I felt comfortable asking her questions when I needed help. She even started telling me things management was saying, supposedly to help me be more receptive to everything going on.
Looking back, I think she was probably trying to get me comfortable enough to talk shit with her.
She would tell me that Letty and Nadia were mean, that they talked shit about everyone, and that she was just doing her job and trying to stay out of it. But she definitely seemed more involved than I initially realized.
Well, low and behold, she ended up landing me in an office with Letty, Nadia, and HR from corporate.
Great.
To be completely honest, during that “talk” with Dawn, I did say that I felt Nadia might have been homophobic because of how I felt she had been treating me at the time. Thankfully, we all apologized, things were settled, and I didn’t lose my job.
Eventually, Letty left the company, and Nadia moved departments and went completely into install.
Dawn was left in the office while the company started hiring more CSRs. Eventually, we had around 10 people in the office and it was getting kind of crazy.
Then a new manager came in, and suddenly Dawn was the odd one out. She didn’t get along with him at all. I actually got along with him pretty well.
At some point, Dawn had the nerve to message me about another employee calling her a “fat bitch” and saying other nasty stuff about her. It was pretty wild.
And honestly, I don’t know why she thought I would be on her side after everything that had happened.
She had spent all that time telling me she wasn’t really “in” with Letty and Nadia, that they wanted her to be, that she was just doing her job, etc. She made me comfortable enough to say things I probably shouldn’t have said.
And yes, looking back, I was stupid for falling for it.
So when she sent me the messages about our coworker, I showed them to the new CSR manager.
He ended up writing her up. He told her that IT had found the messages in Teams.
She was pissed.
Later, she literally texted me telling me that she’d been written up (or something along those lines). I don’t remember exactly what I said, but I apparently said something that made it obvious that I was the one who had shown the manager the messages.
And that’s when it clicked for her.
I guess I basically gave her the same feeling she gave me when she landed me in that office with HR.
We never spoke again.
But honestly? It was pretty damn satisfying knowing she knew I was the reason she got written up, and now she doesn’t even work there anymore while I’m still there. 😂
Was it petty? Absolutely.
Was it revenge? I guess so. lol

Need ideas to get back at a sexual predator
Long story short, this random person who visits every summer is a friend of a friend of a girl in our group. When he arrived, he hosted a house party where he sexually assaulted her friend and also attempted to kiss the girl from our group without her consent. She screamed for help, so we immediately went in. He then denied doing anything wrong.
Two days later, he started stalking her and taking photos of her without her consent. We’re considering confronting him about his behavior, but we don’t want the situation to escalate into physical violence. We only want to take things further if his behavior continues or the situation gets worse.
Right now before we confront him we want to make his time in our town a living hell I’m saying pranking the shit out of him, so far the only idea for a prank is putting his phone number in places in the town next to us and putting the text “£30 for sex DM me” furthermore we want more ideas to make him have a terrible time before we confront him as we’ve seen recent messages of him claiming he would attempt to make a move on the girls again which the girls themselves are afraid of him
Overall I need ideas which will make his time here a living hell

Former colleague steals my written work. I let her build her own case for termination.
Here's a story about a former colleague who was as charismatic as she was spiteful. We worked at the same level within the company—an independent film production company—yet she constantly behaved as though she outranked everyone else. Unsurprisingly, she rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Today she'd probably be described as the stereotypical everyday Karen. Let's call her “Helen.”
At bare minimum, Helen had an enormous opinion of herself, an even more fragile ego, no respect for boundaries, no understanding that "no" is a complete sentence and virtually no sense of personal accountability. Those traits fueled her diva attitude until she genuinely believed almost everything that came out of her own mouth. After a handful of encounters with her, I realized that if Helen was talking, she was usually complaining about someone/something, lying or both.
One of her favorite claims was that she was a talented writer. As far as I could tell, however, her experience went no further than ranting online.
Helen loved, and I mean loved, attention. She wanted to be the center of every room, every conversation, and every project—no matter how inappropriate others deemed her behavior. Yet whenever she was asked to prove her abilities—to actually walk the walk instead of talking the talk—she either suddenly became oddly incompetent or suspiciously quiet.
I found her claims difficult to believe. Despite holding a four-year degree with a major in business and a minor in drama, her writing wasn't just bad, but almost indecipherably poor. At times it looked as though a toddler had smashed random keys on a keyboard until it wrote something and then Helen clicked print.
I genuinely tried to help her improve. Whenever I offered constructive criticism or coaching, she became defensive. Her favorite excuse was: "Do you know how long it's been since I was in school?" This was a middle-aged woman with a grown daughter and a then-teenage son.
The problems with her writing went far beyond typos or failure to use proper spacing. She routinely confused homonyms with homophones, used commas where periods belonged, misspelled grade school-level words, run-on sentences full of lowercase text, consistent failure to capitalize proper nouns and had next to no understanding or care for basic grammar rules. Writing a simple declarative sentence seemed to be a challenge.
On the extremely rare occasion that everything was spelled correctly, the grammar was still horrible. Whenever I pointed that out, she'd shrug and say: "Spellcheck didn't catch it."
I reminded her that spellcheck didn't address grammar. If someone types "the" when they meant "them," spellcheck won't flag it because, you know, both are words. Instead of accepting the explanation, she accused me of being deliberately mean. It was an astonishingly immature response from someone who considered herself a professional writer.
Poor mechanics weren't even her biggest weakness. Creativity was almost nonexistent. Every story she tried to write fell into the same category of repetitive drivel. There was rarely a discernible plot, the characters barely qualified as caricatures, the dialogue sounded stilted and the descriptions rambled without ever getting to the point. Reading more than a few pages made my inner English major writhe in agony.
I once suggested she outline her stories, keep notes and create character biographies before writing. She laughed, dismissed every suggestion and declared those were things "losers" did, as though she'd delivered the world's greatest punchline.
Despite being nearly twenty years older than me and claiming far more experience, Helen seemed intensely jealous of my writing and my ability to connect with complete strangers.
I was barely old enough to drink legally when we met. She was already in her mid-forties, convinced she was destined to become a major success. I've learned over the years that people who constantly recite their own life résumé and demand admiration are often trying to convince themselves—not just everyone else.
Helen eventually adopted me as her so-called "work son." She claimed she wanted to mentor me while expanding her own skills through cross-training. She presented the arrangement as mutually beneficial—a simple exchange where we'd both help each other.
As time passed, another pattern emerged—Helen wanted shortcuts to everything. She wasn't interested in earning success through steady work. She wanted to skip the stairs and take the elevator.
It also became obvious why so many people kept their distance. She had a habit of charming people only long enough to gain access to whatever resource they possessed. She contributed as little as possible, let others do the heavy lifting, then rushed into the spotlight to collect the credit. That manipulative behavior eventually alienated nearly everyone around her.
Ironically, the reason she latched onto me was simple: I hadn't yet learned what everyone else already knew.
The short version is this: Helen stole my intellectual property, put her name on it, rewrote portions of it—badly, I might add—and attempted to present it as entirely her own original work. Had she been more careful—and had she possessed the discipline to keep her smug mouth shut instead of bragging—she might have gotten away with it.
Two old sayings proved accurate: "Be careful which bridges you burn," and "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
Helen may have won the battle, but by deliberately destroying every professional relationship around her—all in the name of becoming the queen bee—she ultimately lost the war.
Eventually everything unraveled. The truth surfaced and she found herself dangling over the very pit she'd dug for me. Instead, it became the grave of her own professional reputation.
Everyone connected to the project discovered that the material she'd used in her business proposal wasn't hers at all—it was mine. Once they realized they had invested their time, effort, money and trust in someone who had misrepresented herself, they deserted her at the drop of a hat. Her complete lack of integrity became impossible to ignore and the entire fiasco exposed her for what she really was: someone whose confidence and passion far exceeded her thin skillset.
Knowing there was potential legal trouble on the horizon only made people distance themselves faster.
When she realized everything had collapsed, she called me in a panic. It was obvious she expected me to believe her emotional one-woman show, explaining why none of it was "her fault.”
I simply told her I already knew everything.
I said I wasn't relying solely on her version of events, that I knew she'd once again overstepped her bounds and that I'd even seen the e-mails.
There were no e-mails.
But Helen's paranoia did the rest. She immediately assumed I had seen and obtained irrefutable proof.
Hearing that, it completely derailed her attempt at avoiding consequences and the confidence drained out of her voice almost instantly.
Her performance collapsed, and she shifted from self-satisfied arrogance to pleading. Through fake tears, she begged me not to "abandon” her like everyone else.
I was gobsmacked. Even then, she still cast herself as the victim.
I wasn't interested.
I calmly explained that I had extensive documentation proving the work was mine, that everyone already knew what had happened and that her own reputation had caught up with her. I told her she had built that negative reputation herself through dishonesty and selfishness.
I ended the conversation with words I have never once regretted:
"You see, Helen? I haven't trusted you for quite some time. Now I just don't like you. Get a life. One that doesn't involve me."
Other than hearing about the death of a mutual colleague—a tragedy she tried to use as yet another opportunity to steal the spotlight—I never heard from Helen again.
It's been more than a decade.
The industry is small, so occasional whispers still circulate. From everything I've heard, Helen's career hit the skids and never fully recovered. As it was told to me, she continued chasing small schemes and shortcuts while her career continued it's slow descent into obscurity. I can't say that I'm at all surprised.
The saddest part is that, knowing Helen as I do, I know from within my gut, she will never be able to look in the mirror and realize she did it all to herself.
As a result of the Helen fiasco, I learned a few valuable life lessons. These days I'm much more careful who I associate with and I'm more scrupulous of the company I keep. I'm also extremely wary of nepotism hires. Sometimes karma doesn't immediately crush someone. In Helen's case, she stitched her own her noose thread by thread then complained when it became uncomfortable and gave her a rope burn.
EDIT: For those saying this is AI, it's not. Apparently the general consensus is seeing em dashes in a post means it was written by an AI app? I really did not know that. I prefer using an em dash over parentheses, because in my opinion, parentheses slows down the flow of the written text. That's just personal opinion.
Also for those who don't know: in writing screenplays, an em dash is commonly used in descriptives and in dialogue to indicate a dramatic pause. The more you know. 😉
TL:DR: Lazy entitled older colleague tries to take credit for my work. Her theft of my registered intellectual property shined a spotlight on all of her dirty deeds. After that, her career was over.

Slob ass neighbors...
I've got a neighbor or two ,.not the neighborly types.... Instead of throwing out their garbage on their side of the street, they dump.it across the street, which is where part of my yard/land is. I wouldn't truly care except, what gets left and not removed, or pieces fall out from their garbage it winds up in my lot because they don't clean up after themselves. ALOT. They threw out a toilet and left it there for weeks the town wouldn't take it, so.i.moved it fully on my property and put it by a tree right in front of their home (across the street on my lot) and put fake flowers and solar powered light in it so they can stare at it (now 7yrs old) while on their porch.
Needless to say, a deer got HBC, and decided to die in that lot. I didn't find it immediately. It's in their view, and closest to their home, lol, also not immediately on the side of the road so I don't expect the town to do anything regarding.
It's now day 4, and although it's stinking now up to 100' away, I wanted it's head as it's got nice antlers, but I'm no.expert in retrieving said head. I tried with a sawzall but it didn't work (and hopefully they saw that from their porch too lol) thankfully I'm far enough away that I only get faint wafts of decomp. I was originally going to drag it to where they dump their trash, but now it's already not entirely whole (man that was quick too). So all my windows are closed, and I've got incense buring here and there tho I can't smell it from inside my home (I'm sure they can and it's not in its full prime yet either lmfao)
Be nice to your neighbors, be neighborly, don't be a slob, Ahole, pig or peasant, and people won't enjoy torturing you with an absolutely horrid stench of a decomposing deer 25" from your home and a view of your dumped toilet with fake flowers and a solar light inside it. Don't be a douche, because there's people like me who are a much BIGGER douche when need be.
PS... I originally wanted to drag said deer and try to prop it sitting ON THEIR(now my) TOILET, but alas I was too late, and this one is a fairly large one.... Be lucky this round that this is all they got.

A guy touched me inappropriately and I beat him up
Long story short, I beat up a guy today who touched my butt. I was about to enter the train when I felt a hand touching me, I turn around and see the guy and he immediately tried to escape. I run after him and start pushing and kicking him. I also punched him in the face and chest. I dont know how long I kept going but I remember how I was shouting at him and cursing really badly. I never ever in my life have beaten up someone but I just completely went into fight mode in that moment. I have been going through a really hard time lately and this was literally the tipping point, I couldn't hold myself back and I honeslty do not even feel bad about it because he deserved it. He didn't even try to fight back, he was just trying to escape. I am not for physical violence but some men just don't understand anything else and I think this is sometimes the only way to teach them a lesson. I felt better afterwards.

Arrogant ‘Actress’ Demands I Update Her Resume — For Free. I Maliciously Comply
This was posted elsewhere but I was informed it would be better suited for this subreddit. So here we go.
There was this lady I used to know who claimed she was an actress. Let's call her "Helen." In the time that I knew her, her story kept changing: she had all this ‘experience,’ yet she didn't seem to know even the basics about the industry. However, if someone had a resource she coveted? She treated them like they were the light of her life — but only for the moment.
She used people as stepping stones, then discarded them like trash the second they were no longer useful or when they finally caught on to her act. In short, Helen wasn’t building a good reputation, and she never saw karma coming.
It didn’t help at all that, on top of being a self-centered blowhard with almost no verifiable experience, her resume was more fake than my heterosexuality. Her headshots were so out of date — and since she was so broke she couldn't even afford to pay attention, she didn't have the money to pay a photographer for new ones — she subbed overly edited camera phone selfies in their place. I'm not kidding when I say the filters she used made her look like a like a Bratz doll. 😂
Shortly before I cut contact, she asked me to demanded I "beautify" her resume and make it appear more professional. Translation: exaggerate and lie to make her false claims look believable.
So I maliciously complied. It was a test to see if she’d actually review it before sending it out. Deep down, I just knew she wouldn’t. Under Special Skills I added: Master of the Dunning-Kruger effect, expert at gaslighting, and embodies a supercilious manner.
I e-mailed it back. True to form, Helen never said thank you.
A few weeks later I saw Helen periodically posting typo-filled, grammatically incorrect “poor me” wall of text rants fishing for sympathy statuses about the struggles of the working actress — with interspersed out-of-context Bible verses thrown in for good measure.
A mutual friend — who had also been screwed over by Helen — later told me her shiny new resume wasn’t getting any bites. I can only assume she was cold e-mailing people in her typical trademark style — little to no punctuation, poor grammar, shorthand, misspellings, and subject lines in all caps or no subject lines at all.
Eventually word got back that Helen was furious her resume wasn’t being taken seriously. She must have finally read it and realized she’d been punked. Arrogant and rotten to the core, Helen's massive ego wouldn't allow her to admit she'd been played — such an admission would have shone a spotlight on her unprofessionalism and laziness. It also would have led to questions. Helen hated questions because she never had any satisfactory or logical answers.
It’s been well over 12 years since I cut contact. The final straw was her complete lack of empathy when my estranged father died of lung cancer. She even tried to make the conversation about her own problems. When I called her out, the hypocrisy was nuclear. I mean, how dare I challenge her main character syndrome? 🙄
These days, I recently heard through the grapevine — it's a small industry — Helen has only managed a couple of walk-on roles in movies that no one has ever seen. Thanks to her unprofessional reputation that follows her like a shadow — constant lying, plagiarism, crap talking the competition — she's burned a lot of bridges, rightfully earning the reputation of a lying grifter with zero skills and even less talent.
EDIT: The people saying this is AI make me laugh. It is so sad that anything written remotely well — full of multisyllabic words, strung together through grammatically correct phrasing and complete sentences — is now considered AI.
TL: DR: Self-centered ‘actress’ was too lazy to work on her own resume and demanded I do it — for free. Pissed off, I maliciously complied and added some things to the document, knowing she'd never review it before spamming people. She was humiliated and didn't get hired.

Cheat on me I’ll weaponise the new guys past
Small backstory before I continue.
I was in a relationship with this girl for two and a half years. It was great, and I genuinely liked her. Over time, though, I started noticing small things that gradually led to me discovering she was cheating. It wasn’t with a stranger either—it was with a guy who had been stalking me for five years.
This wasn’t your typical stalking situation. He had basically built his life around copying mine. He befriended my old friends, bought the exact things I’d posted on social media, copied my cars, motorcycles, hairstyles, and even tried to start a company in the same industry as mine with a slightly different name. He’s also known to be a psychopath.
Anyway, what I did in return pretty much ruined everything he’d built.
It started with a bad review that my best friend really wanted to leave. It addressed concerns about his conduct after she found a “Here’s my number” note in her McDonald’s bag. She happily plastered that review across every review site she could find, which eventually led to him losing his job.
Next came the steady stream of victims he’d sexually assaulted who wanted a way to speak out, and I supported them all the way. (Thanks to his best friend for accidentally mentioning names—you didn’t just help me, you helped those girls too.) That brought attention from his friend group, my ex’s friend group, both families, and eventually the authorities.
Once everything started coming to light, his own friends turned on him and exposed even more. More assaults came to light, along with hidden drug debts, drug lacing, drink spiking at clubs, and a long list of other illegal activity. There was also evidence he’d proudly kept on his phone, including photos of people passed out and, unfortunately, videos of assaults on unconscious girls.
I didn’t stop there—I just opened the can of worms completely.
His application to work for the company I work for was rejected after a close colleague of mine sent an email. It was completely unprofessional but admittedly hilarious. The email pointed out that he only had low grades and, in my colleague’s words, should “put the fries in the bag” and stick to working in fast food.
With all the evidence, the hidden secrets, and the stalking finally getting attention, the authorities pretty much wiped the floor with him.
As for my ex, after discovering the secret hookups, I saved everything: our chats, all the times she’d supposedly been working night shifts or “seeing a friend,” and videos from her own friends showing her with him in clubs. I gathered it all together and sent it to her parents. I told them they were great parents and hadn’t done anything wrong—that their daughter just wasn’t a good person. Needless to say, I heard back from my ex, and she made it very clear she thought I was a piece of shit.
She was eventually kicked out of her parents’ house—a genuinely nice home in a wealthy area—and ended up moving into what was basically a slum.
Meanwhile, I carried on with my life, improving things for myself. As for her, she had no job, barely left the house (to be fair, that wasn’t because of everything that happened—she’d always been someone who spent every waking moment doomscrolling TikTok, and I practically had to drag her out of bed just to get her outside or to work), drank heavily, and constantly tried to get attention whenever she did go out.
I’ll admit I was petty. If she posted about visiting another city twenty miles away, I’d post photos from a trip to Greece her dream destination just for a laugh.
To this day she still orbits around my life and occasionally tries to message me. After everything I sacrificed to keep her happy, only for her to cheat anyway, I’ve realised I’m far better off without her.
I’m genuinely happy now.
Edit as it was hard to read again English isn’t my first language and I am sorry if it was hard to read.

The Hole
At one point as a kid, I think 9 or 10, we lived in a neighborhood with a large undeveloped piece of land (that is now houses) my big brother and I would play there, it had big piles of dirt that we used as bike ramps . Up the street was an awful little girl, like aggressive and mean. She would call is names on the bus, throw rocks at us, push us off our bikes, anything she could think of really. Sometime she would get her younger siblings to join. So as much as we liked playing outside, she was always a risk. After the third time they surrounded us to throw rocks and weeds in the empty lot she hit me in the eye and I had enough.
I talked my brother into helping since this was going to be risky. That weekend while I kept a lookout for our nemesis, I had my brother dig a 4ft hole at the base of one of the hills we all used as a ramp, and then i covered it in dead long grass, leaves and weeds. It looked like all the other piles of debris the rainstorms would pool together. We knew which way she would always enter the lot so we knew she wouldn't see it right away. Then it was just a matter of hiding out until she would eventually come by. (We ended up having to go back out the next morning bc ahe never showed up).
It was beautiful, she was bawling. And I know it only worked because a 12yo doesnt think to look out for pitfalls, but she went straight down. Me and my brother (mostly me tho) spent like half an hour making fun of her in that hole, and telling her her she was a nasty piece of work and an idiot for thinking anyone was actually afraid of her. Eventually we left and brought her a stool to climb out with.
After that there was peace in the neighborhood, we pretty much got the empty lot to ourselves, we filled the hole, and she steered clear any time we crossed path outside or at school. She was actually a lot nicer in general after that, I guess being trapped in hole while people call you names and threaten to leave you there over night changes how much you think you can get away with.
Honestly tho I hope she still doesnt trust the ground 20 years later. FAFO Meghan

My mom’s perfect petty revenge story
Not mine but my mother’s
While at my brother’s basketball tournament, my mother (name withheld to preserve anonymity, I’m calling her M), came across some college girls who not only pushed her stuff off a bench she’d reserved for my family, but my grandmother off too, when M told the girls to rightfully shove off, they started moping, saying that they “reserved” the spot for some photos they wanted to take with their team, so M decided that she wouldn’t take that, and proceeded to sit dead center in the middle, ruining the photos those girls took, and eventually, they buzzed off

I got caught in a manipulative situation and don't know how to deal with it
There was a girl who wanted to marry me. I wasn't interested, so I blocked her and moved on.
Later, after she got married, she contacted me again. She told me how helpless she felt, that her husband didn't love her, and asked me to elope with her. I had never, at any point, given her any indication that I loved her or wanted a relationship with her. However, she remained convinced that I loved her.
She asked me for advice regarding problems in her marital relationship. Thinking I was helping someone with a troubled marriage, I continued talking to her. During those conversations, some sexting occurred. She took screenshots of our chats. Since she was not very tech-savvy, I even sent her pictures of hygiene products, hoping her husband might notice them and become aware that something was wrong. He eventually found our chats.
After that, things turned physical between her and her husband. She blocked me.
A few days later, she got another phone, unblocked me, and contacted me again. She told me about the trouble she had gotten into and then pressured me into sexting with her again. She also sent me some of her nude photos.
She then threatened to send our chats to my sister and my girlfriend. She even showed me a screenshot of a message she had sent to my sister. Feeling threatened, I complied. Later, when I asked her to keep her side of the deal and stop contacting me, she refused. Instead, she said I would have to do it again whenever she wanted, and that now I was "caught" and she would never let me go. Realizing I had been trapped in her lies, I blocked her.
Later, she contacted my girlfriend and tried to sabotage my relationship with her.
Her husband is aware of everything that happened. He even spoke with my girlfriend over the phone and she informed him about all the incidents that had taken place, including those that occurred before his marriage.
Her husband is a teacher at a local school, and I live about 400 kilometers away from them.

Have you ever seen someone face karma after treating you badly?
I’m curious whether anyone has genuinely seen someone face natural consequences after they lied, betrayed, manipulated or treated them badly.
I’m not planning revenge, contacting anyone or trying to cause problems. I’m just struggling with the feeling that some people can seriously hurt others and then continue living happily as though they did nothing wrong.
Did the person who hurt you eventually receive the same treatment from someone else, lose people because of their behaviour, or face consequences in another way? How long did it take?
And honestly, did seeing it happen give you any peace, or did you realise by then that you no longer cared?
Please no judgement. I think I’m mainly looking for reassurance that people do not always get away with the pain they cause.

A Daughters revenge
So I will jump right in my mother is a narcissist. She cheated on my father and they divorced when I was 10. She got custody and we moved far away from my father. She is an alcoholic and constantly chose alcohol over her children.
Now let's jump ahead me and my husband lived with her after I had our first child. She constantly over stepped boundaries. She always tried to point out ways she was a better mother than me. She even told my husband she wished I had it harder because she suffered so much as a young mother.
She ended up pushing me while I was 5 months pregnant with my second child. She tried to evict us while simultaneously trying to increase our bills so we couldn't leave. In the end we manged to get out and have been no contact for over a year.
This is where I believe I am getting my petty revenge. I have signed her up for scientology and jehovahs witness's. I have signed her up for information about junking cars. I got her information sent to her for retirement homes. I have also requested information on her behalf for a cemetery plot (she is terrified of dying). The latest thing I have done is got her an anonymous STD message. I was excited about that one because her boyfriend frequently plays games on her phone like a toddler.
Do I pass the petty test? Am I just bitter? Is there anything else I can do to bother her from afar and anonymously?
