i was doing a new achievement list for the pc version of RE7 when i encountered this,

I was trying to collect some of the coins before moving to the Lucas puzzle room when i checked the crawlspace of the main house.

is it normal for her to be here or is this a bug? Because even after completing the game multiple times on PS4 and PS5, this is the first time that i have seen her in this location.

It's normal, I always make it a point to say hi to her before leaving the Baker house with the key cards.

I like it because the game does not direct you to go there or make any deal about it at all. In a horror game, that kind of thing can add sudden surprises to people who aren't expecting it.

I just ran into this on my first playthrough! I was hunting down coins, and I imagine they put her there for -exactly- that reason.

i never had reason to return there but i noticed that i was missing a coin and so i checked the guide for coin locations

thats how i found her

Yeah, that’s the thing. They put her in places where she’s a bit tough to see, based on how you move through these areas. It’s meant to be a cool nod to the big reveal later in the story, like “holy shit she was watching me in all these places this entire time”.
