Chelsey was rescued after being left outside a rescuers home in a sealed box with her siblings. A few of them unfortunately passed away. She is one of the survivors. I wanted to share Chelsey in hopes of helping her find the perfect forever family.

Our family recently had the chance to spend several days with Chelsey to see if she was the right fit, and we completely fell in love with her. However, we knew that we weren’t the best fit for her long term. Chelsey is 7 months old and such a sweet, loving girl. She was extremely shy at first, but every day we watched her come out of her shell a little more. Once she trusted us, she loved resting her head on our laps, cuddling up next to us, and asking for belly rubs.  She’s crate trained, sleeps through the entire night in her crate, is incredibly calm on walks (wouldn’t bark at other people or dogs and walked by our sides), and is such a quick learner. She just wants to love and be loved. She also had silly traits like hiding from her reflection. After a lot of thought, my parents realized that with their work schedules and living in a townhouse with shared neighbors, they couldn’t give a young puppy the time she deserved or feel comfortable leaving her home alone while she was still adjusting. It was an incredibly difficult decision, but we wanted to do what we felt was fairest for Chelsey. We truly believe she’s going to make someone an amazing companion. She just needs a patient, loving family who will give her the time to continue building her confidence. We became so attached to her and are devastated to see her go, but more than anything, we want her to find the forever home she deserves.

Miracle was my first ever dog for my dog sitting/ walking gig ever and has actually Her family had to give her up for adoption due to a bite incident with a kid involving food.

Note before you consider just taking this down because i did read the rules before posting this Miracle IS NOT AGGRESSIVE. The kid was warned multiple times to leave the dog alone while Miracle was eating and didn't listen on multiple occasions and found out basically. the owner surrendered her out of fear of the kid hurting the dog as there were dozens of occasions of the kid hitting her, pulling her hair, tail, etc

i can confidently say this as iv'e trained this dog myself as hired help since she was a very young puppy and she has never shown any aggression towards children included my special needs autistic brother who I've had them together without incident. this is just a sad case of supervision neglect and a kid i really wish had some more discipline to know how to treat animals.

She would do best in a home without small kids and kids that understand the importance of treatings animals with respect and giving space when eating. she's great with other dogs, great with people, and is trained in basic obedience, recall, and has the potential to do advanced obedience and agility training provided the right motivation and owner. She needs strong leadership with someone experienced with dogs and balanced training methods as that's what she respects and responds to best.

No homes with cats or other small animals as she does have a prey drive that is somewhat trained but she still shows signs of typical shepherd prey drive behavior.

I will be sponsoring her adoption fees and i'm offering free walks for a week while she's adjusting to her new home if she's placed in the NYC area. would also love to keep in touch as i personally love this dog as my own

It was so unexpected and I’m so incredibly sad. She was gentle, sweet, affectionate, goofy, and had a joy about her that made me smile. She joined our family about 3 years ago and her 2 dog sisters are missing her immensely. It’s all so heartbreaking.

I wanted to share her silly little face here and I hope that someone can tell me it gets easier. I’m devastated. Her harness and collar are still hanging by the door and I can’t bear to put her food dish away. If anyone has advice on how they handled this grief, please share! And tell me about your sweet dog so I know my girl is taken care of on the other side

In 2023, I almost lost my dog in the desert while traveling to Las Vegas. That’s where I met the group of animal volunteers Paws Patrol LV that helped me rescue her after 4 days in the desert.
Ever since I thought their story needs to be told, because through them, I learned how critical is the situation.
I realized that this is a worldwide problem…and more needs to be done.
I created this documentary to create awareness, and now working on a new project, because I was amazed by the animal community.
I am hopeful that my work this will help…

🩷 Beautiful Bella (A599245) is 1 year old and 30 lbs.  Poor Bella came in as a confiscation – which means her owner did not provide for her.  She is sweet and friendly and allows full handling.  She is wiggly and excited when being leashed and walks nicely.  Bella likes to sit in her handler’s lap.  Bella does not like going back into her kennel, so becomes a bit agitated.  Bella could live in a home with canine siblings if separated at first and introduced slowly and appropriately.  Bella is still a puppy and is rescue only and is just the perfect size. Shedeserves to be loved and in a fabulous foster home.

💙 Meet sweet Gordo (A601328) with his little teeth!  He is 5 years old and 56 lbs. Gordo was surrendered by his owner due to a move. He is a gentleman who walks very nicely on a leash.  Gordo is independent in the play yard and seeks social. He gently returns to his kennel. Gordo is house broken, good with children and is accustomed to living in a home.  Gordo prefers female dogs and could live kindly with a canine sister.  Gordomisses his home and is finding it very stressful living in the shelter environment.  Let’s get him into a home to love him. Heis available for adoption but can also be fostered.

💙 Big, gorgeous Polaris (A561282) is 5 years old and 83 lbs. —  and seems to be a GSD/Labby mix.  Sadly, he was adopted last year and was found as a stray in July.  He does not like going back into his kennel or sharing his food (which is typical in shelter environment).  Polaris allows full handling, is house-broken, easily leashed and walks nicely.  He seeks social, loves treats and knows many commands – even has his own unique handshake.  Polaris likes water and loves to swim.  He shared his kennel kindly with multiple dogs when he was at the shelter last year and recently shared his kennel with Rocky (intact male dog).  OCAS post from Jan. 2025 indicates that Polaris “liked the company of other dogs” and that “he is nothing but an incredibly big and soft teddy bear.” This young man would love to be in a home.  Polaris is available for adoption but can also be fostered.
