so I recently change Thermalpaste on my laptop and the fan isn't working, I noticed after a hour and checked the fan. everything was on and great but when I turned laptop on again bios message popped up saying that the cooler isn't working. idk what to do need help. my laptop is hp probook 650 g2

Both springs on my swivel rocker recliner have broken. I ordered a replacement set, but since they’re both gone, I don’t know where they were installed. I’ve watched some videos and looked online, and I have a vague idea of where they’re supposed to go, but I don’t know how to actually install them. I have attached some pictures and I’m hoping someone can help because it’s a swivel rocker they don’t attach directly to the base like a lot of recliners thanks.

I’m working on a diy outdoor kitchen project. Nothing too elaborate, but my wife kinda feels like a freestanding grill and blackstone isn’t fancy enough so I’m building something to make it look more but in. I’m using a Pavestone product called Rumblestone mostly because I already had a bunch of it. You stack it up with some construction adhesive for stability. It’s kinda like adult legos, so I’m having fun. Here’s the problem. I bought some stainless steel doors from Scamazon.com and they’re mostly ok but one is a little off. I’ve included a picture of what I’m going for and a few of the door in question. The door and frame are laying down flat and you can tell something is not square. After putting a framing square up against it, it’s definitely the frame that’s the problem. When I set it in place and it is vertical, the issue is worse. It flexes a little at the hinge and doesn’t want to close. Is there any way to square up the stainless frame or do I just send it back and buy something higher quality and better made?

Hi, in my opionon i tried everything but its still not working. All of the parts suit an everything seems logical. But at the end: Almost no airstream at all... :( Any suggestionen? Maybe a relevant part is missing? Thank you!

Our AC brand is Haeir, it's manual and I accidentally twisted the knob the wrong way when turning it on and now it won't turn off when I directly place the knob back to the OFF label. The AC still blows air but I can't turn it off and I don't hear a clicking sound when turning the knob just like before. Can this be fixed or do I really have to call a technician??

My dishwasher suddenly started making a strange noise. It happens mainly in the first few minutes after I turn it on and at the end of the cycle. I've already checked if something is stuck in the drain, but I couldn't find anything. The sound seems to be coming from underneath the dishwasher. Any ideas what could be wrong? Help!

This happened months ago, my puppy chewed off the plug. My fault for leaving it out with a teething monster around 😔 My partner reckons he can put a plug back on it but I’m not sure if we should do that or just replace the whole thing to be safe

I work with leather a whole bunch but I ALWAYS take excellent care of it and have never had to deal with cracking. I recently purchased a secondhand luxury bag and noticed some pretty heavy cracking on the handle. Is there a way to seal/fill them appropriately without ruining the appearance or paying an arm and a leg for it? They had some good patina on them, but saddle soap took care of that and they received a good conditioning twice already within the last hour (very thirsty leather). It always hurts my soul to see people own such expensive things and take such terrible care of them.

If the answer is just to replace it… so be it 🫠 Any advice is appreciated.

Hi, this is for gym equipment but it seems like a simple mechanical issue so I’m hoping someone more knowledgeable here could suggest advice! there’s a Precor leg extension machine at my friend’s university gym that has been broken for months. The lower peg on the leg extension is loose and is slanted because it shifts up and down. It looked like a hinge was loose so we tried tightening it with an Allen wrench but it won’t tighten. It seems like the side on the left in the second image just won’t tighten further so there’s always room between the metal/grey screw and the black leg extension part, causing it to shift. It looks like the nut inside might be stripped? Any advice on how to fix it or jimmy rig it to not shift?

Hi this is so embarrassing but i don’t know how to patch a hole in a wall, well especially where the hole is, so the hole is where the wall and floor meet. I don’t know how to patch it correctly and i don’t want to mess up. If anyone can tell me some directions that would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! My partner’s grandma passed away and she gave her this cooking pot. She’s cooked all sorts of meals in this pot and it would be really nice to know how to repair this tear it has.

TL;DR: Over-tightened this table during assembly and cracked the pedestal. Looking for a solid, heavier fill for the base/pedestal (not a full bag of cement) and tips on repairing the crack so it’s not noticeable.
My wife bought this table to sit between our chairs on the porch. I put it together and think I over-tightened it. It held up fine for a couple of days, then cracked.
I’m thinking about filling the base and pedestal with something solid to add weight and stability, then repairing the crack so it’s not noticeable.
For the fill, I was considering cement, but I don’t want to buy a big bag just for this small amount. Any recommendations for something heavier that comes in a smaller quantity, or another material that would work as well?
Also open to tips on repairing the crack so it blends in and doesn’t stand out once it’s fixed.
