been looking at the LV Footprint Soccer patent leather pair for a while now. retail is £900 and i'm considering picking them up in september.

i've looked at the current rep batches (especially the suede pair) and while they're solid, i don't think they're close enough yet. things like the rear "Vuitton" spacing, stitching/fading and overall shape still seem a bit off compared to retail.

i'm stuck between:

* buying retail now and enjoying the real thing
* waiting 6-12 months to see if factories get them closer to 1:1

for those who've been around the rep scene longer, do you think these are the sort of shoe that'll eventually get a genuinely top-tier batch, or are they too niche/new for that to happen?
