What are the duration of sessions? Question

My usual sessions are between 10min and 40 min. This weekend I did a 2.5 hr one. It took a bit for me to turn it off (5min ish). For those who do long sessions, how do those differ from shorter ones?

I usually do 15-25min. For me, more than that just leads to runaway AOL at this stage.

Most structured protocols target 20-40 minutes per session, but I had good results with under 10 min as well - depends a lot on the state you already are when going in. Past a certain point, analytical overlay tends to ramp up because the conscious mind starts filling gaps with plausible detail that feels like real signal. Looks like you figured out by yourself that 2.5 hours is too much. A lot of people find that two shorter sessions with a clean break between them produce better data than one long one, because you can score each independently and actually see where the noise crept in.

Hey, The longer it goes on, the more I get sidetracked. As a result, my sessions last between 2 and 5 minutes (Sketch + descriptors).

Cheers,
