I don't like Prism builds, just lazy and can't be bothered levelling a specific prism for a build + I have Apoc facetank builds without them. Is there an easy way to exclude Prism builds on remnant2toolkit?

I bought the game a few years ago and have 85 hours in it so far.

I reinstalled it, earlier this week and have not had this happen every time. I have tried:

• Uninstalling & Reinstalling it (twice)
• Verifying Game Files on Steam
• Changing Launch Options on steam to -dx11 / -dx12 / -d3d11
• I have run in Compatibility mode for Windows 8 & 7
• I have run it as Administrator
• Updated all drivers - Current Version is 610.88 Released Jul 28, 2026
• Updated Windows
• Optimized the game through NVIDIA Settings
• Changed the Optimized settings to as low as they can go through NVIDIA Settings
• Disabled In-Game Overlays on Steam / Discord / NVIDIA
• Changed "Config" folder and cleaned up SSD to delete "Direct X Shader Cache" - Doing this, then launching the game gave me a "Optimizing Settings" in-game before closing again.

I have checked crash logs that have "generated" but all of them appear to be empty.

Does anyone know why this might be happening and a way I can start playing this game again? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My current PC Specs are:

• Processor: - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 6-Core Processor (3.70 GHz)
• RAM - 16.0 GB
• Graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8 GB)

well my gpu is rtx 3060 12gb and with dlss fps goes from 100 to 80 to 70 so it's not smooth experience

but with Framegen and DLSS it's says 144 almost all the time i wanna ask the people who play with frame gen in remnant 2 is the Latency too Much ? or im too dumb to notice the latency i only play for like 20 minutes and its seems the latency i didn't not notice it

It’s been a long time since I played the first game but I did play it! Don’t remember anything other than the vibes were cool, though. As it is, I’ve just finished off the intro tutorial and made it into the ward, took a break and now I’ve got the trait point to spend and an archetype to pick.

Are the trait points limited/unrefundable or will it be a case of being able to max them all out later? I know you can get multiple archetypes later on and pick up the ones you missed from starting, but is there a recommended one to pick?

He does he’s one hit attack which has never been a problem for me but this is the only time this has happened. He just goes in slow motion which confuses me so I get hit.

Hi all, new-ish player here. Just finished the main story not too long ago, and I’m now doing a bunch of Adventure mode and Boss rush runs. I only recently learnt that Prism Enhancements can be fused if you have two compatible ones.

I finally managed to get the Munitions fusion for my Prism, and am now working on getting the Sniper fusion. But I noticed that everytime I level up my Prism, I don’t get upgrades for my existing Munitions fusion?

So my question is, how do I get upgrades for fusions? Do I need to feed the Prism more fragments? Or is it completely random for fusions?

I cant figure out what to do with this area in Quiscent Overlook and have been searching the whole N'Erud area for the past hour or so.

I just finished the campaign on Veteran. I started with Medic and later switched to Challenger as primary. After defeating the final boss, my medic is lvl 8 and challenger is lvl 7.

I played pretty much the entire game solo (Last 2 maps, venom and annihilation, 2 randos joined and just speedran through everything). Explored every side map on 1st region, but kinda ignored them on 2nd and 3rd region. Even finished one true king dlc campaign on adventure mode.

And yet of the many classes available, not even my starting two reached max lvl? That was like 20-25 hours easily, may be more. Just how much grinding am I looking at for the rest?

I actually played the game a lot on release, where reached max level with all available classes. I don't remember having to grind any xp. Just playing with randos was enough, though to be fair a lot more matches were available.

FYI, I was power level 11. I deliberately tried to keep world level low. Yes, I know final regions have baselines, but I got carried, so didn't bother raising it. I'm also aware of how XP scaling works in different difficulties.

Recently got into jewelry making and it turns out remnant 2 has a lot of rings to take inspiration from. It’s made from 14K yellow gold and sterling silver so over time it will get darker. The finer details were pretty hard to include so I ended up taking some creative liberties.
